   I bought a box of earwax remover that also contained a water syringe. I bought another item and just put them both in the bag and went home. I got home and found the ear wax remover was not in the box. I returned the next day and as soon as I started to explain the person behind the counter said ; " I remember you from yesterday and you opened the box and checked everything was OK". I said "No I didn't open the box I just went home and found the bottle was not there ". The man just kept repeating that he saw me check the box yesterday. Then the woman arrived and said it was a manufacturing issue and had nothing to do with the chemist. She said you will have to go away and check with the manufacturer and there is nothing we can do in the shop. She said all the other customers we have sold this product to yesterday didn't complain. ( which as far as I was concerned was irrelevant ) They wouldn't tell me their names or who I could contact about the service and the missing bottle other than contact the manufacturer. I was furious. It was the sudden confident memory powers of the shop assistant that surprised me. I thought he was just creating a stand off. If he had started with saying he was sorry and he had no idea what had happened I could have accepted any result. I noticed the shop has a 100 percent satisfaction survey rating on the window obtained from 74 customers from an organization called the informacist. It says they are very polite people. You could have fooled me.
