I was in the pharmacy for around 15 minutes waiting for my prescription 08/09, waiting wasn’t at all a problem however, I felt very awkward whilst waiting. The counter staff are miserable and not one of them looked like they wanted to be there, Also found one lady in particular that served other customers to be rather rude, kept butting in as the customer were talking alongside getting involved with another sale with another customer on the other counter which had nothing to do with her and seemed to be perfectly under control without her input thought this was very unprofessional.

Switched to Bridgegate from another pharmacy in Retford about 18 months ago. Great service, always friendly, pharmacy itself is modern as its recently been refurbished. All in all excellent.

I use the pharmacy a lot for myself and various family members plus work. I don’t have a problem with the service but I wish that the people who answer the phone and who are on the front desk were happier. They sometimes/regularly look so fed up and stressed. It really does rub off on the customer experience and if only they were more friendly it would be so much nicer to go in. several other people have said this to me and it echoes how I have felt for a long time. I feel there is room for further development in this area with training and supervision. The general atmosphere and attitude really could be improved for the benefit of all (customers and staff!)

I received my perscription yesterday and found one item missing. There is no indication on the bag that one item is to follow. Hence tried to phone but very long queue. Tried to email but can not use there system. Did I not order this item or is it to be delivered??? Please would they indicate that an item is missing and will be delivered.

Sorry to read your message and will try and resolve the issue for you. Unfortunately the long queue is inevitable due to the volume of calls we take. Not sure about the email as we get several emails from patients on a daily basis with no problem at all. Please try bridgegate@peterjameschemist.com OR bridgegate@mylocalchemist.co.uk. If your email goes to our SPAM mail then this is hardy ever reviewed I'm afraid. We generally enclose an "item owing slip" with all parcels where we owe medications so it it could be that the GP has failed to send us a prescription for this missing medication or it has come to us on a different day. If you can email, phone or WhatsApp me with your details, I will gladly look in to the issue for you

Order prescription 7 days in advance and its never ready on collection 7 Days!!! To make prescription up, its becoming regular now sat here waiting 30 mins to have it made up service is getting worst not better avoid this terrible practise

They delivered my prescription medicines to the wrong house and apparently it’s my job to get them back and return them to the chemist as they had to give me a new set!
