This review is directed at Boots Pharmacy Whitefriars, Canterbury, Kent. I am really tired of this particular store and the lack of any type of empathy by a particular member of staff who is borderline rude. I am disabled with a walking issue and require the use of two walking sticks and walking to the store is quite a challenge. From the time I ask for a repeat prescription from my GP to receiving an acknowledgement from Boots is very quick, then the problems start. I requested an Inhaler on the 10th Feb 2025 and still waiting. This is not the first time as it seems to be a recurring theme. I have when able asked in store if my prescription is ready to be almost scolded like a child and they will tell me when ready for collection. I do not believe in coincidence, when a text message notifies me my prescription is ready just as I have arrived home. The argument of being too busy and short of staff is not my problem. As probably the biggest pharmacy in Canterbury there should be contingent plans in place to rectify this increasingly poor business model. There must be many people that are battling to receive their prescription needs that are putting health at risk. Pharmacy staff at this particular store need reminded or further training that we are the customer and not an inconvenience.
