    I have been a loyal customer of this store since it opened and have been collecting repeat prescriptions from this store for more than two years. I was told today that they would no longer be issuing repeat prescriptions for my surgery. When I asked why, the assistant said ‘they don’t like the way we send them over in bulk”. When I asked if I needed to change my GP or pharmacy, she said ‘No idea. You could get the app to request your own prescriptions’. I am shocked that Boots no longer offer this basic service for one of the largest GP practices in the area and disappointed in the casual and off hand manner that this news was broken to me. Not good customer service at all.

    I have been 3 times after my last pharmacy closed down. Every time it has been at least a 30 minute queue for the desk and twice they haven’t had my medication in stock. The first time I waited 50 minutes before reaching the front and then told “we don’t have it”. Despite me being distressed and saying it was an emergency they couldn’t help or advise another step. Awful communication and system. You cannot check the status of your prescription without queuing first and then members of staff will not help at all past 30 seconds because they need say they need to move onto the next customer. This happened again today: medication isn’t in stock, “what should I do?” “Go to another pharmacy”, “can you help at all with where else to try?” “No sorry the queue is too long for me to look it up on the system- move along please”
