   This Boots is a very small branch, dedicated mainly to filling scrips from the Orchard Medical Centre GP surgery 20 yards away. There is off street parking in front of the surgery and the nearby Tesco, although you can't park in front of the shop itself. As the store is small there are often short queues, but the wait times are moderate. The opening times on the net or the NHS site do not mention that the pharmacist is unavailable in the middle of the day, though there is a notice in the window to that effect. I needed to 'phone today to release a prescription that I needed, but couldn't collect as I had been called away to care for my wife. Multiple 'phone calls to this Boots weren't answered at all, and there is no email address available to the public. Someone from the surgery very kindly walked down to effect the release in person, so I can pick the scrip up in a different branch. Without this intervention I would have had no access to my medication. For a NHS pharmacy to be uncontactable other than by physical visit is, in my view, unacceptable.
