   Boots Roundswell have been dispensing my monthly prescription for several years. We're talking about life-saving meds that have to be taken every day in order to live. But the service is so bad that I'm now leaving them. Every month the script is late; they don't text to say when it's ready (despite stating they do!); often they don't answer their phone so you can't check if scripts are ready; the counter staff (of which there's usually just 1) can be rude, ignorant and abrupt; the queue is often out of the door. I've asked them to bring forward my prescription - as I've now run out of the buffer I'd built up - but it's still takes them 5 weeks or more rather than 4 before the script is filled, and they couldn't care less. I have no problem with the pharmacists, who I believe are incredibly overworked, but the system is broken and nobody is fixing it, to the detriment of the customers. If you are thinking of using Boots Roundswell (Barnstaple) I would say 'think again'!! An online pharmacy may be more reliable and less stressful - at least you won't have to queue or deal with unpleasant counter staff.
