I had to twice visit the Boots Pharmacy in Newbury Retail Park in March, once for myself and once for my daughter. Both time there was a line of around 5 people waiting, but I was seen really quickly by a friendly and professional member of staff who quickly and discreetly helped and reassured me. Once the staff member checked with the pharmacist for some extra advice, which was also great. Thank you so much to this branch and team, its not a universal experience I have had in pharmacy and I wanted to make sure your hard work was recognized.

You’re likely to queue at this pharmacy for at least 45 min before being assisted at the counter. You’re then likely to wait 30 min before you receive your prescription. If you wait for a text message to say that your prescription is ready for collection, then you’ll still need to wait 45 min. Terribly slow service even though they don’t appear understaffed.
