   Boots pharmacy used to be great. Friendly helpful staff and quick service. The last 6 months it's not going well. Routine prescriptions take over a week often leaving me without medication for a day or two. The gp won't let prescriptions be ordered too early. Emergency prescriptions take 5-7 days. Not helpful when I need it in an emergency to prevent an A and E visit. I've tried ringing, popping in to see if I can wait for my script but just get told to come back when I get the text. The new computer system isn't great. I go in to pick up a prescription and the system tells staff it's not ready, but in reality it is and they spend 10 minutes looking for it. The texts sent to inform patients prescriptions are ready all come through in the evening, it would be helpful to get them earlier in the day and then I could go and get my prescription. Staff are clearly stressed and overworked as they are very short with customers and don't seem willing to help when customers are at their wits end and just want their medication.
