    We arranged appointments for TBE vaccinations, weeks in advance at this branch of Boots as it was the only available service in our vicinity. We've had travel vaccinations at boots previously, so we have online accounts and extensive records of jabs with them. We travelled for a hour to get there and paid the usual extortionate local council parking charges. Upon arrival we told the pharmacist we'd specifically booked TBE jabs, and had selected this on the booking system. We were therefore less than impressed to be told they didn't have any TBE vaccine in stock! We questioned why on earth were we not advised of this before dragging all the way there? In response we were told that rhe system is that only when the customer turns up for a jab do they look at what stock they have!! Quite frankly this is customer service at its absolute worse, and a complete lack of joined up thinking and process.....unsurprising for Boots as we've been left cursing their IT many tines before. Government take note that "privatised" health vaccination services need tighter regulation and more quality applied customer service measures when considering a private sector provider
