I went for my covid booster today. I explained I am very needle phobic. Nurse was uncaring. Gave no warning of needle coming. Felt like she just stabbed my arm. Almost jumped out of my seat it hurt that much . I've had 3 prior covid jabs and flu jabs. None have hurt this much. I have a fair size Bruise and my arm feels as though I've been kicked.

My husband & I booked to have a flu vaccination at the Boots store in Taunton, we arrived early for our appointment, and thank goodness we did, it was a complete shambles. I booked online and completed the pre appointment questionnaire but they still insisted on going through everything again, for both of us. They finally booked us in and I had my jab quickly, however my husband waited approximately 20 minutes before asking if he had been forgotten! Only to be told that he wasn’t “on the system” and had to go through everything again, including NHS number which I’d given when we booked! The whole debacle took an hour and we only just made it back to the car before the time ran out. We certainly won’t be going there again.
