I have had a severe sore throat for seven days and cannot get into my gp surgery as they are inundated. We are always told to seek the help of a pharmacist for things such as sore throats so I went to Boots in Bridgwater thinking a good brand as Boots would give good service Pharmacist refused to speak to me I was told there is no option to see a pharmacist for this in Somerset unless I went private I won’t waste their time again Poor show from Boots

I went to the Boots pharmacy in Bridgewater for advice this afternoon. I was on holiday in the area and so was unable to get advice from my GP. I felt the lady I spoke to was disinterested and dismissed me quickly without trying to help. I am very lucky that I have a pharmacist local to where I live that always goes the extra mile to help. Away from home I made mistake of thinking going to a well known store like Boots would also go that extra mile, but sadly I was very disappointed.
