Took my daughter to the Asda St Leonard's pharmacy as she had a suspected UTI and was in agony. It was 7.40pm. The pharmacy closes at 9pm.The assistant took basic details, said it was fine, and that the pharmacist would see my daughter. The pharmacist then said without even appearing from behind the scenes that they couldn't see her. I asked why not and still without appearing they said that the consultation would take 20 minutes. I remarked that that would take us up to 8pm so he would still have an hour left to work. Without any explanation he did he didn't have time. No apology. A kind person in the queue said that Station Plaza pharmacy was open till 8 so try there. We arrived at Station Plaza pharmacy at 7.50pm What a difference. They were literally just about to close and they saw my daughter no hesitation. Wonderful service. Asda though, dreadful service!! Do Not Use if you can help it!

On several occasions myself and my family have had poor experiences within Asda pharmacy. That we’ve now had to change are local pharmacy. Recently the pharmacist has given a relatives prescription to myself instead of my own. But I did not recognise this till I was home. The staff are also incredibly rude. Understandably they are under pressure. But they stand around gossiping and just verbally rude and short tempered towards customers. They are not considerate of the fact, customers they are serving may be feeling unwell. And that’s why they are using the pharmacy. They make you feel uncomfortable using the service. A member of staff on several occasions has stood around glaring at myself, whilst I’m served by someone else. This has made me feel incredibly anxious and uncomfortable
