    Even when they’ve had the prescription 5 days they are never done and you usually have to wait up to an hour. They never answer the phone so it’s impossible to check if your script is even there to save wasting a trip. It’s 2.25 now and I have rung 12 times since they opened, occasionally getting user busy but usually the phone just rings with no one answering. My husband needs his heart meds that were changed 2 days ago and they’ll be shut all day tomorrow. Absolute amateurs and our Cornwall pharmacy woefully understaffed. Will say that the majority of staff are very friendly and helpful when you do see them.

    Son diabetic No tresiba insulin in 100ml pens insulin for night time to keep him alive as diabetic through to nhs 111 out of hours doctor prescribed the 200ml we went to get his script but the pharmacist denied us As this was the only one we know how to adjust it but she still refused This is my sons life line his very important he don't miss it well 26th Dec 2023 he has no more shots of his night time she is disgusting to refuse someone's medication

    Leaving this review of Asda pharmacy in Doncaster as this is the third time in the space of Severn months (the only three times I have tried to access the service) where the service has been terrible. One time I was poorly and in had to ring to check my prescription was ready. After getting through after 20 plus times of trying they confirmed my prescription was ready after crawling to my car to go and collect I was told that my prescription was not ready! The other times staff have been complaining about how busy it is and not providing the correct information. I will be changing where my prescriptions delivered to and when I require and sort of medical advice. Just not the standard you expect when poorly / requiring help.

    Prescription ordered on a Tuesday. Not available to be worked on till Friday. Offered to take the prescription elsewhere. Shame we had to wait over an hour in a queue to get to that point

    So 1 week after my prescription was approved and having checked this with the Doctor's (following my Son checking for me at ASDA) he was told it was not there (so another phone call to the Doctors and yes it was approved). Now for over 1 hour I attempted phoning the pharmacy and the phone rang out every time. So either visit for a service which imitates disdain or simply waste your time (you wont get it back) attempting and being ignored on the phone. I have learnt my lesson albeit now I no longer have my Blood Pressure tablets which have run out ~ so back to the Doctors and attempt to get some and not from ASDA who insist they do not have the prescription ~ Don't waste your time you wont get it back

    I use Asda Darlaston Pharmacy regularly and nearly every time I go to collect any essential medication for my mum or dad it's either not been sent or they keep getting the same medication they don't need! More than once we've had to try other pharmacies to try to get the prescription needed and the staff don't seem to care.

    The reviews are all true. it's two hour wait for most people if your lucky and they don't answer the phone. You are playing with peoples lives and it's not like the pharmaceutical company is poor. Completely unacceptable and time wasting. I'm going to have to change as I need my medicine and don't have time. Some of the staff are nice it's just a shame it's so unreliable. I have complained and no matter how much anyone has it's still the same story

    Prescription sent Monday, I rang to see if ready for collection Thursday, not ready as item’s ordered due Thursday pm. I tried ringing Friday am, 53 times unanswered! Went to store lunchtime, waited in long queue, still waiting for an item that I was now out of! Lady randomly checked boxes of a delivery not yet sorted, she said couldn’t find item would order again and delivery between 2-4 Friday. She took my number to ring me as I said no one answers phone and I was going to have to drive in again. Still no call and as usual no answer on the pharmacy phone. So I am now left without heart tablets at a weekend. Could someone look at the staffing and organisation here?
