Asda huyton received my prescription 4/3 but as they are never ready for collection.I left it a few days before collecting .didnt have 4 of my items 2 of which inhaler .so returned today they are closed no notice re time opening .so still no medication now run out .what do I do.

For the past year, it’s been so bad. Over an hour wait for prescriptions, rude staff. Went in today (8/11/23) to get my medication, as stated on the NHS app they have been issued and ready for collection, that it would be over a 2 hour wait, as the pharmacist had to go on break. Now I work full time 1-1 and find it hard to go collect my medication, and this was the only time to get them as my doctor sent my prescription late due to meds being changed. So when I heard that I’m like “no the app says they are ready to collect now”. The women just said well the pharmacist goes on break at 1 you won’t be able to collect them till after 2. I said my circumstances I need my medication now as I run out on Monday and I’m doing 8-8 over the weekend. She didn’t care and just said should have come sooner. Now someone who works long shifts I don’t need that kind of attitude. They always have that attitude with customers. Very very rude staff. Hopefully moving pharmacies soon.

Struggling at the minute due to other chemists shutting. This is then taking longer for repeats to process. But the staff are doing extremely well to cope with this pressure. But the staff will go above and beyond.

Prescription sent to pharmacy at 2000 on the 24th of may. Tried picking up at 1200 on the 25th to be told it wasn't ready yet after a 45 minute wait to be seen. Went back at 1700 on the 25th to be told it still wasn't ready after yet another 30 minute wait to be seen. Told to come back in 2 hrs. It shouldn't take over 24hrs from receiving a prescription to filling it. In absolute agony waiting for pain medication.
