  1. Review titled Ignoring a potential medical episode/ emergency

Rated 1 star out of 5

On 25/09/23 my partner was believed to be having a allergic reaction to some food she had previously ate. Before leaving home she only had a tingly throat, On arrival at this pharmacy her tounge became swollen, her heart rate had become faster and was starting to feel a bit worried. We queued for half an hour . This store was very slow and unorganised. Upon reaching the desk my partner told the kind lady her symptoms. Who rightly said she would get the pharmacist to speak to her. The lady shortly returned and said that we would have to wait an hour to be spoken to. We left to get antihisamine tablets from the asda store instead in hopes that this would solve the reaction. I find this service completely outrageous. As a potential medical emergency this should have been prioritised in case medical attention was needed. And it is not acceptable to be told to wait an hour so he could continue packing medication. This service is appalling. As a police officer myself I understand that the store is busy. However incidents like this should be prioritised at a much higher level. My partner also works for the NHS therfore to wanted to speak to a pharmacist in the first instance to reduce potentially wasting the time of hospital staff.
