Review titled Wouldn’t give me eye drops on minor ailment scheme

Pharmacist was really rude, I asked about minor ailment as my eye was infected, he said we only do paracetamol and ibuprofen on the scheme, my son was with me who works in pharmacy and he said our pharmacy gives eye drops, the pharmacist then said we’ll go to his pharmacy, I said I would do but it’s too far and I’m in pain, he offered to sell me something and he said or go to your dr and get a script, I said I don’t pay for my prescriptions but I thought the whole minor ailment scheme was to stop people going to their doctor for ‘minor ailments’ but you will give paracetamol on it which you can buy for pence, I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy at all, I then drive home and went to longsands pharmacy who gave me the eye drops with no issues.

Feeling ill and having to collect a prescription, the assistant saw me waiting but continued to ignore my presence until I asked. She was then rude, abrupt and proceeded to charge me twice before seeming very put out that I dared to challenge this. Not even then did I get an apology.
