attended the chemist in Asda Liscard to purchase eye drops for my disabled mum. The Dispenser refused to sell me them as mum was not with me despite me explaining she had conjunctivitus and at time was unable to leave the house. On occasions when I have used the chemist for prescriptions the order has been incorrectly dispensed ,there have been excessive delays and dispensing staff have been rude.

We are sorry that you were not happy with your experience at our pharmacy, and we are grateful for your feedback. Most pharmacists prefer to see the patient before selling antibiotic eye drops to ensure the medication will be safe and appropriate for the condition. In rare cases, the eye drops could mask a more serious underlying condition, so the pharmacist prefers to check that it is bacterial conjunctivitis and not a different eye problem.
