    Hours of opening state 09:00 to 21:00 but was closed when I visited today at 13:15 !! Why is this?

    On trying to collect a prescription that was marked “urgent please” I was advised that “it takes 2 days and we only received this at 1pm” (it was around 4.30). A similar situation had happened a few weeks before, I assumed it was a one off attitude problem resulting from a bad day, but the same staff member was again rude and demonstrated no customer service skills, all she had to say was we don’t have this in and advise they could order or I could try elsewhere. I had another prescription to collect yesterday, I was due to collect it from my doctors so I could take it to another pharmacy but it was inadvertently sent to Asda, I really did not want to go in but needed the prescription and was fortunately served by a different staff member with a smile. The problem is with the one member of staff, and though I have been served by several very good and pleasant members of staff the one tarnished the experience so much I have changed my pharmacy and would not recommend the Asda one. In fact after mentioning what happened to a friend it transpired they had had a similar experience to me and changed pharmacy.
