Not sure whether it's standard practice to keep the phone on mute, but it's pretty shoddy customer service!

I had my prescription sent here as I work in Alton and it was recommended to me by a friend. However, I wish that I had not followed that advice as the patient service that I have received over a simple prescription is verging on the unbelievable. I had a prescription for two items, 1 x box of one insulin and 4 x boxes of another insulin. When I first went to pick up the prescription the pharmacy only had one box of each and therefore gave me an owing slip. Fair enough, it happens somethimes. when a week later I went to pick up the other three boxes they told me that only one box had come in but they would place the order for the other two. Again, fair enough, mistakes happen occasionally. When I went back for the third time they told me that they had no stock and that an order had been placed and that they get it in all the time so call in a couple of days. When I went back today, surprise, surprise, they had no stock and have been completely exasperated by the whole situation I told them to foget it and I will contact my surgery to inform them of the problem and get the remainder transferred to a pharmacy that actually cares about its patients, I would not and never would recommend this pharmacy to anyone. As an aside I have attempted to call them prior to walking there on each occasion with not one of those many calls being answered.

The service i get from this pharmacy is unacceptable. Prescriptions are never ready, and they just expect you to come back another day. They also change the manufacturer of the med when it suits them. It can take months to find a suitable medication, Just for them to then say its not available. There antiquated system takes sooo long. You then find they haven't got the medication or repeat prescription . Also there's not enough staff to help. The opening times they display are not reliable, often closed. ?? This is not the way to run a NHS pharmacy business. Rude , impolite and disrespectful.
