Sometimes I just need a little extra time when communicating. I always feel listened to and not rushed. When I was in last week I was struggling, but the people in there are always helpful

Can’t praise Alexander’s Pharmacy enough! The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and truly care about their customers. They answered my questions about my prescription and took the time to help and explain everything clearly. The service I received was quick and efficient, and I really appreciate how they go the extra mile to ensure everything is accurate. It feels great to support a local business that treats its customers with such care and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Tried to visit today within the opening times published on here only to find they are closed for lunch. The opening hours need to be amended similar to those stated for Saturdays. It takes up to two weeks for repeat prescriptions to be ready following the initial request to GP. No clear reason why as NHS app shows the prescription has been sent to them. They offer an out of hours collection machine but then don't put prescriptions in it even when I have agreed to this following their initial suggestion that I sign up to this service. When you do go in the staff are lovely, helpful and friendly but the overall service is poor and seems badly organised.

Called at this chemist today to pick up husbands prescription. Not ready 3 days after it went in, told they would put it through right then and I would have to wait 10 minutes. Not great but OK. Half an hour later I ask where the prescription is up to in the process of dispensing. Blank looks all round, very young woman on the counter asks for all the details again then reaches around behind her, retrieves the prescription from a pile waiting to go through and puts it in the pile to be processed immediately (as she was supposed to have done half an hour before).. Says 'it wasn't put through before, that must have been my fault!' Yes it absolutely is your fault. Was it too much to ask that when you had taken the relevant details you actually completed the job!? I said I could not wait any longer I had already been excessively patient in sitting there for over half an hour assuming that you had actually done the job for which you are paid. And you cant ring to ask for your prescription to be put through in readiness. My advice - go to Allied (half a mile down the road) which is always ready and waiting after I ring to say I'll be in to collect in half an hour. Staff always efficient. No complaints with Allied.

Came in to pick up a prescription and was served by a lovely assistant, I’d mentioned how I’d spent a fortune on prescriptions over the last month and she went on to tell me about the pre payment certificate. Which I will look into. The Assistant was lovely, smiley and so very helpful.

Attended the Pharmacy seeking help due to shortfall of antibiotics issued by hospital pharmacy. I arrived at the Alexanders Pharmacy anxious but the team were so helpful in resolving the situation and an urgent prescription was sorted out and medication issued within minutes. Thank you so much for your professional and friendly support.
