I had Complex Cataract Surgery. I had efficient and excellent care and treatment. The staff and Consultant Surgeon were most reassuring, and the procedure lasted 20minutes *****

Arrived for my surgery on Thursday the 2nd of May only one week before I had a referral at the Brighton hospital, on my arrival was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome, all staff at the Brighton hospital were friendly and was taken to the theatre for my surgery, met the staff who was doing the surgery, was given eye drops and was explained why and given the chance to ask Questions, when the eye drops kicks in I was operated on , was made comfortable and I was very relaxed by the whole thing, can't fault the staff at the Brighton spa medical, wish I'd known about them before, have a follow up appointment on the 30 th of May, would recommend this service to everyone.

I attended the Spa Medica at Newark. Initial assessment was quick and efficient and I was booked in for my first cataract within 10 days. All of the staff were friendly, the surgeon explained the procedure and the process was quick and smooth. After care was thoroughly explained and discharge was as smooth as the rest of the process. I was very happy and look forward to returning for the second eye.

From start to finish a wonderful service.Everybody was kind Caring, and everything was explained. The speed of being seen and then operated on was Amazing. Can't thank the staff Enough. I. Once again, thank you. For all your kindness and care. I Would thoroughly recommend them to anybody.

The surgeon was very helpful and put me at my ease so the second eye operation was a more pleasant experience for me. Everyone who works for Spa Medica is very helpful and on the whole it was a good experience.

All aspects of the clinic were good from the friendly efficient reception staff to the debrief and discharge nurse briefing . Very well run and managed facility

Spa medica staff are so friendly and helpful, I felt very nervous they put me at ease, I cannot praise them enough,they talk you through everything that is going on, I would certainly recommend anyone to attend there.

I had arranged for a family member to pick me up but I was finished much earlier. The receptionist rang for a taxi , which came straightaway. I was very unsteady and my Vision was really impaired. I was told to get The lift. No one helped me and I went out to blinding sunlight and couldn’t see properly. I could have been injured . This happened immediately after the procedure and I felt very vulnerable . I had no complaints regarding the removal of my cataract only what happened after. I should have been given time to recover before being sent home on my own.
