Highly recommend Spa Medica Bolton - 2nd cataract surgery completed with care, attention, patient focussed and nothing is too much trouble. Every colleague who works there goes the extra mile to ensure your wellbeing is their priority. Keep being brilliant !

I had a cataract done with Spa Medica in Bolton on Friday 26/4/2025. I was so nervous as I was going on my own. I need not have worried from the driver picking me up, arriving to be greeted with lovely caring reception, nurses everybody involved including a wonderful Consultant. You all Put me at ease because of your empathy and understanding of how I felt which made all the difference. Had a very quick painless operation and I can see. Thank you so very much to everybody, you were all amazing. I now await my other eye done, knowing how wonderful you all are I won’t be as nervous. I would recommend you to anybody.

Very pleased with everything we had done atspamedica Swansea every one were seen by were very pleasant and polite including the driver that took us to the hospital.every one was very helpful and professional. Thank you

From the first communication to the procedure it could not be faulted. Reception staff were polite with a smile and very attentive. At all stages nurses were very caring and knowledgeable. The actual procedure to remove the cataract was superb and all the medical team made me feel relaxed.

I cannot fault the attention received. All the staff were amazing. The facilities clean and comfortable. The surgery was done efficiently. I do have blurred vision but I have been told it will clear in time.

I had a new lens put in my right eye one week ago today, at the Warmley branch of SpaMedica. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions in detail. The operation was successful and not in the least traumatic. I now do not need to wear glasses for the first time in 75 years. I can't wait to have the left eye done. A big thanks to the staff at SpaMedica and to the NHS.

I was greeted by a very friendly nurse who put me a ease straight away. She checked all my details with me and explained what and why she was admistering the eye drops. Then taken to a room outside theatre by another friendly nurse who explained and instilled more drops then I was greeted by the surgeon who took me into theatre. He explained the procedure and all was over within 20 minutes. Met another nurse who explained what to do during the coming recovery weeks and asked if I had any questions. I cannot fault any of my journey with SpaMedica.

Thank you thank you, first rate service. All test I had to take were explained in full detail and the new lens fitted in about 10 minutes
