    The audiologist was excellent in every respect. However, I had expected to see a specialist rhinologist, as recommended by the ent consultant on Nov 17, and not the same consultant again. Perhaps that is why this time the consultation was brisk and he did most of the talking rather than asking probing questions. Despite the fact that I have had 5 polypectomies, he went on about the dangers to eye and brain of such an operation and said that he personally had been involved in one that caused such damage. This was surprising, scary and the opposite of reassuring. I had to accept his opinion that the polyps were not yet bad enough for operation and that I must continue with the same cyclical medication that temporarily eases but does not cure the periodic hearing loss, catarrh and congestion, and loss of smell. I was surprised when I asked how/when a decision should be made that an operation was necessary, he replied that it was up to the GP. Yet he is the ENT specialist. I feel the consultation merely endorsed the status quo. When I am referred again, I would want to see a Pindersfield ENT rhinologist, not the same Omnes health ent consultant. Very disappointing, especially after the more positive, thorough and informative consultation of last November.

    I waited over 5 months to see a dermatologist, when I went in for the initial examination the woman I saw constantly spoke over me, interrupted me, and just generally shut me down, my partner had to tell them to let me finish speaking and they were incredibly rude to him. They claimed they couldn't get me in again for a month, I emailed my concerns after they said that as I cannot mentally survive another month with no treatment and the diagnosis made it very clear they have paid no attention to anything I have said, then suddenly they had three appointments available for the next day, so they clearly just lie to patients about availability. Finally booked in for an appointment with an actual dermatologist, I called to let them know that due to an unannounced bus diversion I would be late. I was told to attend anyways, and yet after over an hour wait they refused to see me. Staff were again, rude, interrupted me and my partner, then just started ignoring us completely. "We can't help you go home and rebook." Eventually saw someone yesterday, including the same woman from my previous appointment, she immediately refused my partner entry, supposedly "the doctors only allow the patient in" - even though she called a patient in right before us who went in with their partner, she was very obviously trying to make me go alone so I would allow her/the doctor to talk over me and minimise my suffering again. Doctor did try speaking over me/cutting me off and dismissing my concerns, I literally had to talk back over him to get my point across. No sympathy or empathy for the fact that I have been suffering for months and am mentally struggling to cope and have ended up suicidal due to this, very blunt and so clearly in a hurry to just get me out of the door. Got prescribed more creams despite me using multiple already, was told I can pick them up immediately, I couldn't even an hour later. No indication of when my skin biopsy will be, no advice for how to care for myself in the meantime, the rudest, most disrespectful staff ever, they are always up to an hour late seeing patients but penalise us for being 5-10 minutes late. Have also personally witnessed them refusing to allow a patient to bring their service dog in because "the doctor has allergies" but they wouldn't get another doctor for them so forced them to either leave their dog or rebook - absolutely shameful. Everyone I have interacted with here has no business in a medical setting with vulnerable sick people who just want help. They don't care about patients at all. Avoid at all costs, it genuinely isn't worth risking further pain and suffering, and the risk of missed serious diagnosis is just too high with the abysmal service and terrible wait times. Go literally anywhere else, I beg you.

I was well impressed with the approach of the Dermatologist I saw; they listened attentively, were compassionate, reflective and offered sound, informed and effective advice.     The service in the dermatology clinic was first class.From the minute I arrived to the appointment I was treated respectfully and professionally.The doctor was superb.He explained everything in detail and gave me great confidence .The treatment was over in 15 minutes,with a very satisfied patient.

  6. Review titled Visiting Skin Photographer in GP Practice

    I arrived 25 mins early. I was eventually seen 10 mins later than my appointment time because about 10 minutes were taken up by the skin photographer arguing with another patient. The patient was in a wheelchair and had seemingly arrived at the surgery on time but could not get to the correct part of the waiting room quickly enough and had missed being called. The receptionist then pleaded with the the skin photographer to accept the wheelchair patient and the skin photographer then did accept her. If the skin photographer had just accepted the wheelchair patient instead of arguing for 10 mins nobody would have been delayed! What's the point in arguing?

    I was referred to Dermatology at Lymington Hospital, the lady I saw explained fully and showed me photos on the Computer so that I fully understood my diagnosis. She answered all of my questions and was really pleasant and helpful.

    The Audiology Dept was clean bright and airy. The lady was kind and efficient. The Dr who rang me an hour after my appointment was excellent he explained everything in detail. He listened to my concerns and reassured me. He arranged an MRI scan for me as follow up and an appointment is to follow. He explained he will contact me once it's done. A very good experience.
