  1. Review titled Awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 June 2023

I'm still trying to work out the purpose of this app. I did everything asked. I replied to the sponsor then received an email to say they have looked at it for a final time. I have had one message in total from my supporter after replying to them on one occasion. I dont understand why? So no more share button. I've been left agitated, I don't know who referred but totally pointless. It's not easy opening. Up font waste your time!!! Annoyed and confused as only accessed the app a few days. I would love to know why

  2. Review titled Digital only limits what can be done

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 May 2023

Digital only format limits the level of rapport and understanding with the therapist. The live chat format didn't really work as a method to either convey or work through problems. Time spent of useful outputs in a session are probably 50% at most due to time spent typing.

  3. Review titled Could you treat us with any less respect?

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 08 April 2023

I've had to wait 3 months to be asked to open up about my experiences after finally mustering the courage to face my mental health and what do I get? A self-taught course that is bland, elementary and out-right patronising. All I wanted was to talk to someone and I, much like many others, am past aside to this utter drivel. On what planet is watching two minute videos and writing about my triggers (of which there are none) going to help? I wake up depressed and go to sleep depressed... I have never felt so insulted, unwanted and worthless in my life. Silvercloud's service has made me more hopeless and depressed. The NHS is rotten.

  4. Review titled Just get questionnaires to answer and no help

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 March 2023

I was given masses of questionnaires to complete, for each appointment. Asked more questions for which I had to give text answers. I received Not a single word of advice or help. I would suggest the nhs does satisfaction/ suggestions feedback audits for this money earning service which is funded by the NHS to see if it represents value for money

Hi Thank you for taking the time to write to us on here. I am sorry to hear that you did not have a satisfactory experience with our therapy. Unfortunately, we are required by the NHS to have all the questionnaires set filled in prior to each appointment to aid in patient's recovery as they progress through treatment. I would, however, like to investigate the above further for you to ensure you receive the help and advice that you require, therefore, please do email our Complaints Department, complaints@iesohealth.com and the will be able to look into this further for you. I wish you all the very best for the future. Emma - ieso.

  5. Review titled Is this just a tick-box exercise???

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 December 2022

I only actually used the program up to the end of module 2. I completed a very detailed questionnaire that had me pouring out deep details about how I feel. I was hoping to get some feedback on review 2, but I feel ill and didn't log in for about 2 weeks so no feedback was left and I was told that I am not engaging so I am out. I logged in and found that I am back at the start and have no further reviews scheduled. Really not helpful at all!!!!!

  6. Review titled Unhelpful

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 October 2022

This service is just a cop out from providing real face to face intervention. I was told my process was ‘insufficient’ and the actual messages I left were ignored. Every time you log in you are forced to fill out a series of questionnaires to access ‘tools’ . I didn’t find any content that I couldn’t Google myself and filling out those questionnaires so often frankly does more harm than good. I don’t understand the point of the ‘supporter’ other than to criticise you for not logging in enough. Definitely not suitable for those who suffer with diagnosed medicated anxiety or depression

Dear patient Thank you very much for your feedback. I can totally understand how the questionnaires can feel long and repetitive. However, it is something we ask every person to do before each session as it helps the clinician understand the persons mindset ahead of the session and helps identify quickly if the person is in any way at risk to themselves, as a precaution. None the less, I am so sorry that it caused you more anxiety. This must have been very stressful – something which we absolutely would not want to make anyone feel. We would like to discuss this further with you, please do email our Complaints team, complaints@iesohealth.com, and we would be happy to discuss this with you. Wishing you all the very best. 7. Review titled Absolutely amazing

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Bethany Box - Posted on 24 October 2022

I’ve only just started my therapy with IESO Health after noticing my anxiety being a lot worse than in previous years I’ve suffered. My therapist has been absolutely amazing with me, letting me talk about my worries and stresses & even after my therapy session today has outlined why I get anxiety and the feelings towards anxiety and why they may happen for myself. I cannot thank this service enough & my therapist also. I look forward to my remaining sessions and this is absolutely the first service I will look to if ever needed again in the future.

  8. Review titled Unbelievably bad

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 August 2022

When you're struggling it takes a lot to put things into words. You push through and invest an hour of your time describing difficult details at length only to be met with completely cold, short, totally unempathetic and uninsightful responses. It even bordered on patronising at times. I felt worse and worse as the session continued. I am able to compare this to other forms of therapy - it's inconceivably poor and think the NHS should cease any relationship or alignment with this service immediately.

  9. Review titled My problems seemed ignored

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 June 2022

I had used this service a few times over the last 6 years, it feels like you are talking to a robot not an actual human being, because they never seem to pay attention to your key points...I got discharged a month ago because my questionnaire scored quite high, they referred me to another service that didn't accept their response...i wasn't even asked if I wanted to continue the remaining session, it made me feel even worse as it just seemed I was disposed of. I ended up calling the secondary service and the way IESO had written the report didn't seem clear like it was giving out the wrong message.. in the end I got my GP to write the referral instead..the whole experience wasn't connecting or understanding at all, it literally feels like I'm talking to a bit who doesn't like their job! Very disappointed it made me feel worse and not getting anywhere.
