  1. Review titled Waste of Time

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Pauline - Posted on 30 May 2024

I was referred because of a long standing phobia that has been getting much worse.I did think I was getting somewhere but was then dumped unceremoniously because I had used up my allotted time, I didn't know I was on a time limit and this came out of the blue, I agree this is a tick box exercise that doesn't realise it's dealing with real people with real problems

  2. Review titled Apparently they can't help

Rated 1 star out of 5

Truly awful experience. I gather my courage to reach out. Am told that I need a specialist help, I am bereaved that's all. Unhelpful and better if it wasn't there to be honest

  3. Review titled absolute waste of time

by Anonymous - Posted on 31 May 2024

all of the content in the program is something that you could find on google, and my “supporter” was off sick for a whole month which i was not informed about until i called them up about it. i do not blame them for being sick, but the fact that i was told i was expected to just carry on on my own with the program even though the whole reason i was there was to be helped by someone. you are better off watching cbt videos on youtube. my supporters messages also made no sense half the time, contradicting themselves and giving answers to questions i never asked while avoiding the ones i did. to wait for therapy for years only to get this instead of actual help has only damaged my mental health further.

  4. Review titled Poor service , tick box exercise

by Marm - Posted on 23 April 2024

It's starts with a survery then you wait for a specialist to be assigned. Then you get a specialist and even though I asked for specific times to be called I.e kids not around I get 4pm. If you don't respond you get a message saying you will be dropped from the service, not are you OK. My problem with this service is the lascj of human contact, which is ironic giving my issues Also sending me an email to let me know there is a message waiting I'm not going to read it straight away. So why not pick up the phone and call me. Let's be honest this is a tick box exercise so someone can say they've helped x amount of people. If someone was to dig further you will see that ieso is there for profit and not care. My advice to people, seek other help, CALM mind worked for me. I've started my own support groups for men like myself Shame on ieso and nhs for this sham service Interestingly I told my specialist that I'm leaving and he's yet to reach out, thanks for the support pal

  5. Review titled For the sake of your mental wellbeing seek help elsewhere

Rated 1 star out of 5

I couldn’t say enough about how awful the message therapy is . Poured my heart out to them and they were dismissive and useless . No understanding nothing . Anyone would have thought they don’t require any training to take on the role

  6. Review titled Not very helpful

Rated 1 star out of 5

I suffer from depression, mental health and anxiety, it seems every week it's the same questionnaires I have to answer, they try to go deep into your feelings and not understanding what the real issue is, I am homeless, living in my car with my partner and 2 dogs and until my local authority get their thumb out of their backside, nothing will raise my spirits til I have somewhere to call home

  7. Review titled Very helpful

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have found the typed therapy helpful in that it has pointed me in the right direction for really understanding my thoughts and beliefs about myself that were causing my depression and anxiety. I had very high anxiety levels at the start but found the relaxation and grounding exercises really helped clear my mind so I could better engage with therapy.

  8. Review titled What is the point?

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 November 2023

I was put onto this for diabetes and mental health. My issues are overwhelming grief not diabetes, which I am clued up on and can manage. I've had mental health struggles all my life with different meds and counceling over a long period of time. This has got to be the most useless thing I have ever had to do. I have learnt nothing except I wasn't listened to and this app can not help anyone who's been through it all before. Perhaps for very mild problems and for those that don't know CBT it may be informative but it's nothing you can't Google yourself. Very disappointed very disheartened very fobbed off. Another waste of NHS funds so no one actually gets the help they need.

  9. Review titled Awful waste of time

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 24 November 2023

I was recommend this from the call mental health line (nhs silver cloud) due to very low mood and not knowing where to turn. Filled out all the questions regarding my mental health etc...only to be sent an automated message saying the programme is not suitable for me, no explanation given and no further advice. I now feel worse, there is no support out there so don't bother with this.

  10. Review titled No service at all

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 December 2023

So far I have: Been asked to fill in questionnaires and specifically asked in my first chat session to reveal deep trauma, only to find out at the end that this was a screening session only and no help to come from it or with the same person. But there my info is visible in chat for anyone to see; Been told they'd better check with their supervisor what to do next but what are my goals? Asked 3 times to confirm my goals-how do I know, I've not had Any guidance yet on where to start, that's why I'm here! ; Tols I need to be escalated to step 3 but not why or what this is; Patronised with chat about reflection, my journey. How they'd Love to hear all about my problems; Offered appointments at very short notice but I'f I can't attend, told I really need to engage in the process; the not sent another appointment for 2 weeks which is again a short notice one; Asked what mu goals are (again) by a new person who has admitted they haven't even read the chat so far. Very very poor.
