I wish I could say something positive about my experience with Ascenti but unfortunately my experience was just horrible. I have been sent to Ascenti by my lawyers after my Motocycle accident. I have waited few weeks for my initial assessment. After that I haven’t heard back from them so I needed to chase after them just to find out that the physiotherapist who assessed me left the company without leaving notes about my health condition therefore they had to do another initial assessment for me. That took few weeks again , while this is happening I’m 4 weeks post accident and I still haven’t receive any health care. After another initial assessment finally I was sent for physiotherapy in meantime my therapist got sick so my appointment got cancelled. Another week of no help . Within my 4 sessions I have seen 3 different therapists as one called in sick, other one went on holidays and the third one was 22 min late for my scheduled appointment. Two of them happened to have very little knowledge about how to help me, I have not been taken care of properly, I have not felt safe and comfortable with them. I felt ignored and neglected. Being a sport professional and having anatomical knowledge and massive experience with physiotherapists in the past I have never experience such a disastrous treatment and service. It seems like the admin team do not communicate with the physiotherapists therefore I have completely wasted my time, money and effort going for my appointment that happened to be cancelled and no one even bothered to inform me. I’m still in pain 3 month post accident, nothing has been sorted and my case is being postponed due to lack of professionalism and serious treatment. You would think that private company would care about their client with high quality of service but what I have experienced is pure negligence

I can appreciate your frustration when you are still in pain three months on, and this does not sound like the usual high quality service that we take pride in delivering. My appointment was for my 10 year old daughter who had knee injuries due to sport. The depth of her injuries were far worse than I had realised until the physio should me things she actually couldn't do ie lift her legs, when led flat. The work he set her to do weekly, seemed somewhat simple to me, but was so hard for her. The improvement she made though was phenomenal, going for crying daily in agony, to actually playing and training 5 days a week is amazing. Plus she is soo much stronger know totally blown away!! Thank you so much.

Each session I have had a different physio who has contradicted what the last physio has said will help. The first physio I saw was great she listening to what my symptoms were and seemed to give me a plan that would be helpful. I then saw another physio who was quite arrogant and not interested in what my symptoms were and explained to him the pain was no better. Third time I saw another physio who yet again changed my treatment plan and still the pain hasn’t improved, he also gave me a number to call to pay for some foot insoles and the numbers ring out!! Really quite disappointed with the service.

It was great for my wellbeing but not enough times a month, it needs to be once or twice a week to have any benefit to the person doing the exercises otherwise it is not doing what is supposed to do.

I have had treatment in Preston for about 4 months for very painful trigger thumb. Followed the exercise plan carefully and able to be discharged today. My Physio was professional, communicative and so understanding. Reassured to make contact if future problems. What a superb easy to access NHS service. Thank you. Heather Ainsworth

Although I didn't have physiotherapy..I was referred for a new hip. The physio therapist was very professional and talked through my options, I did not have to wait long for my appointment and my referral was done quickly.

Had ankle operation had 2 phone calls never saw anyone waste of time very disappointed, when I asked for more exersizes ! Never got sent

My physiotherapist took time to listen to my concerns and established my desired outcomes. The treatments he performed and realistic but challenging excercise programme he developed for/with me over 8 mnths have significantly improved my knee pain and allowed me to remain active.
