Arrived 8am as walk in patient needing surgical clip removal. Within 5 minutes was seen and having them removed by the two skilfull, thouroughly professional nurses who kept me reassured throughout. A really good experience of the NHS at its best. Thanks

When you walk in you are greeted warmly by one of the reception staff, they make you feel a lot calmer as soon as you walk in. The waiting times are minimal and the clinical staff are very thorough and empathetic. All staff are excellent and you can tell they follow their IPs procedures the utc was immaculate and there are hand sanitising stations everywhere. Masks are also provided to patients to ensure everyone is safe. Brilliant place with a brilliant service, a credit to the nhs.

From reception to assessment to treatment I had the best experience today in the circumstances. I was treated with understanding, respect and empathy at every stage. Everyone communicated really clearly and honestly about wait times and protocols etc. Thank you one and all!

After an accident I called into the Whitworth Hospital and could not have received better treatment. I was seen quickly and assesed including some X Rays. The staff were exceptionally friendly and supportive. They did what they could and then managed to refer me to Derby Hospital for some treatment. Thanks Guys, you are a credit to the NHS.

Brought my son here as he was experiencing chest/rib pain after an accident abroad. Nurse was very unfriendly and also gave wrong advice. Told "it'll hurt for a few weeks but no need to to to A&E" 2 hours later in A&E with a fractured sternum. Manners cost nothing, no matter how much stress you are under!

Rather than visit A&E for X-rays, I came to Whitworth UTC and wouldn't hesitate to do the same in future for any urgent treatment needs. I was seen, treated and out of the clinic within 1.5 hours, with follow up appointments made at a time convenient to me. The staff were excellent; very friendly and efficient.

Patient coming from a country outside England, on vacation, my wife and I were deeply impressed by the utmost professionalism, efficiency and extreme kindness of all the professionals we dealt with, whether it was the kindness and warm welcome of the reception, the diligence and know-how of the medical staff.
