I cannot but highly recommend the care given to me by all the staff that I came to contact with when I attended the Urgent Care Centre in Hartlepool NHS Trust on the 2nd of June 2025 at around 8:00pm. I want to thank all the staff for their professionalism, promptness and care afforded to me when I visited the centre complaining of chest pains. It is great to have this service available to us in Hartlepool and thank you to all the staff who work there.

  3. Review titled Best hospital staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I went in for a nerve root injection on Friday 30th may 2025. I was extremely nervous and had no sleep the night before. I am extremely scared of needles. We turned up early and reception staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. They then took me to a private room to get my observations done and paperwork. I saw a few of the staff at this stage and they were all extremely friendly and helpful. I got undressed and into the gown, dressing gown and slippers provided. The dr who was performing the procedure came into the room and explained what was going to happen and what to expect I then got any questions answered that I asked. She was extremely friendly and helpful and put me very much at ease. I then got took down to the theatre waiting room were again all staff were very friendly which put me very much ease. I was then taken down to the theatre room were I was introduced to the rest of the three staff who would be in the room with the dr who was performing the procedure. All throughout the procedure the dr was explaining all the steps she was doing and what I could expect at each stage which made me feel so much more at ease. They were all extremely professional throughout and the nurse and xray staff were chatting away with me which put me very much at ease throughout. When it was finished one of the members of staff I'd seen earlier came though with a wheelchair to take me to recovery room. I got a cup of tea and a biscuit and got changed back into my clothes. My blood pressure was taken and I was told I had to use the toilet before I got my discharge letter. I was told all the after care information and the red flags I had to watch out for, again all staff very professional but also very friendly. Every member of staff from the time I arrived at 7.45am until 10.45am when I left were all so friendly and helpful. My friend is actually going to get a nerve root injection and I have recommend if she can get an appointment at Hartlpool after my very pleasant experience i had (didn't think i would ever say that after getting injections). I would just like to massively thank all the staff I had the pleasure of meeting that day.

  5. Review titled Amazing team at women’s outpatients

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Visited this morning and met with the amazing team of staff. The doctor put me at ease immediately and the whole team were truly wonderful when having the biopsies performed. I was offered to watch the procedure via the screen which made it feel very inclusive. I opted for this as I’m the type of person who needs as much detailed information as possible. The nurse, talked me through what the doctor was doing throughout. The doctor gave detailed information on what we looking at and the whole atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and warm. I’ve never had such a positive experience in a hospital. This ethos within this team is wonderful and this approach should be adopted across the whole of pathetic NHS. A truly remarkable team who endeavoured to give the best possible patient care. Fantastic, and thank you all so very much.

I had a colonoscopy on Thursday 30th May and was extremely anxious about it. From start to finish the staff I dealt with during the procedure were extremely professional and caring. Everything was explained to me at all stages and I was made to feel as comfortable as possible. The staff were were friendly and understanding which helped ease my anxiety. These people are a credit to our NHS and we are lucky to have them. Excellent service and experience, thanks very much.

I underwent a colonoscopy yesterday at University Hoaspital Hartlepool and would like to express my appreciation of the treatment I received. From arriving at the Rutherford Morrison Unit I was treated with the utmost kindness and consideration. From the Nurse who dealt with the preliminaries to the staff who undertook my colonoscopy I could not have been in better hands. Many thanks to you all for making what I thought would be a difficult procedure so very manageable.

  10. Review titled Excellent care and professionalism

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Lorraine - Posted on 23 April 2024

I underwent a colonoscopy yesterday and was obviously anxious. The staff from walking into reception, through to discharge were fantastic. They explained everything thoroughly and were reassuring when I had a few nervous moments. Very impressed. The sandwich and coffee after the procedure were like Nectar, after the previous day of fasting!
