I attended the Radiology dept today for a virtual colonoscopy with contrast dye. The staff were very friendly and their care was second to none. I always have a great experience at Traffors General. Thank you guys!

I attended for a colonoscopy in the Endoscopy Unit a Trafford. I can't praise all the staff enough. They were kind and reassuring, from the receptionist, to the nurse who booked me in, the Consultant who did the scope and the nurses who supported and then in recovery. It really made such a difference to my experience, especially when you are nervous and anxious about having a procedure.

I visited the Endoscopy unit this morning, extremely nervous after a bad experience at another hospital. All the staff were so kind caring and supportive. My treatment given with care I was made to feel at ease and I came away actually feeling so pleased with myself . All the staff I encountered today are a credit to this unit and to this Hospital and to the NHS

(In and out same day for a hernia op under anaesthetic) Amazing hospital, spotlessly clean and fresh. Im literally home 2 hours ago from a 12+ hour stay & feel complelled to write this, and yes, unclear why but I feel reasonably comfortable albeit with a 10 inch scar & wide awake 4 hours after leaving the operating table. In that time saw a fair bit - starting with the meticulous work proud whilst silent cleaning lady constantly everywhere - presentation of the wc shower area on ward M/M has to be seen to be believed. The busy but well focused nurse team have absolute control of admin & medical requirements while being friendly and just lovely whilst underpaid. Posters I previously saw refer to "Empathy" and in this regard Trafford have totally nailed it. The anaethatist was pure no nonsense & reassuringly business like, while the masked surgeon had a reassuringly kindly look in his eyes on a pre op bedside visit. Silly points ? Not for me, no. Im a scared 68 yo coward with zero hospital experience since an 11 yo child. I couldnt sleep a wink the night before my visit. If you are scheduled at Trafford General and feel unsure, uncertain, anxious or anything else I hope my experience may go some small way to help reassure you they are spot on. Apparently we cannot leave a sentence in capital letters on here lol - but all nurses deserve better pay. Thumbs up to the management team responsible for the high standards & your style of patient facing service delivery. From cleanliness to the surgeons skill & all points in between. Nailed.

I had a colonoscopy four days ago following a positive bowel cancer screening test. Everything about my visit was well done. I was relieved not to be kept waiting because that would have given me time to become nervous. Several members of staff interacted with me from the initial interview to discharge and all had the right blend of friendliness and professionalism. It is an unpleasant procedure, especially after not eating for more than 24 hours, but they helped by being supportive and my options for pain relief were clearly explained. If I were to need to visit hospital again I would prefer to go to Trafford.

Just wanted to say thanks for seeing me so quickly just after 7 this evening at Trafford General walk in Was just a small matter but fully expected to wait the 1½ hours stated at Reception I was 'checked in' and not 10 minutes later seen by a Doctor Most efficient

I went in for short stay. I had operation then home next day. Going on the ward in the morning. Going down to theatre. Waking up in icu for my health. Can not fault any of my stay there. All staff kind and polite and helpfull. I was scared but i really had no reason to be. Its an amazing hospital and would tell anyone the same. Thank you trafford general. Xxxx

I had a Endoscopy on the 12.06.2022 and then a Colonoscopy on the 30.06.2022 at Trafford General. At both appointments I received wonderful care and treatment from all your staff. After both appointments’ I sent cards’ to both departments’ to thank them for the help and kindness I had received from everyone. I subsequently received the wonderful news from the MRI that the findings are benign which of course is fantastic news. One of my daughters’ now tells me that I should have emailed you too. I am so very grateful for the wonderful treatment I received recently from you and the continued care the NHS gives.

Your review: I attended today for major dental surgery. Throughout the entire process, the staff were impeccable. I was made to feel at ease, the atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and professional. From start to finish I was kept abreast of each step of the way. I was asked numerous times about who I was, which clearly limits any mistakes. My vital signs were constantly monitored prior to my surgery. The Dentist and Anaesthetist explained in full what I was going to have. They answered my queries with ease and with total dignity. The Nurses who looked after me; pre & post surgery were phenomenal. They were witty, friendly, kind natured and thoroughly professional. I was initially scared about my surgery as I have a real fear of all things medical. Within seconds, my anxiety was relinquished as I was met by friendly people at reception. I was led to the ward and from the very start I was welcomed, put at ease and I felt relaxed. The Porter who led me to surgery was equally friendly and chatty. Throughout the day I was given expert advice on how to take care of myself; post surgery. In short; every member of staff I encountered today were absolutely amazing. I want to thank and congratulate each and every one of you. Even at the start of the day when we arrived at the Hospital; we kind of got ourselves lost. The staff on the various other departments were super friendly and pointed us in the right direction. To sum up, no, none of us likes attending Hospitals, but I can assure you this, if today’s experience is anything to go by, fear not !! Thank you Trafford General ( or Park Hospital) as it was when I was growing up 😊 You have all inspired me to write this much worthy review.
