We attended urgent care last Wednesday (03/01/24). My son presented with a painful arm after playing football. We booked in , we were almost immediately triaged , he had an X-ray , review and cast in situ in 45 minutes. Not only was the care extremely prompt , the nursing staff , radiographer were extremely compassionate and professional. Important to share positive experiences .

I had a wonderful experience from the staff at Ward 12 and theatre at Trafford hospital which includes all the nurses, doctors and csw who looked after me while I was admitted for my surgery. You get the same type of care and approach from each one of them which really matters. Thank you once again.

The most amazing hospital I've stayed in,I can't put into words how each member of staff go above and beyond with their patients,I had a TKR two weeks ago and the care,support, expertise was second to none,also pre op and post op.After having a traumatic experience many years ago in a hospital setting,these guys have helped so much to turn that memory around.Every department I encountered was consistent with their personable skills.Thankyou So much for Everything.

I fractured my wrist badly in May 2023. I had to wait three weeks for a hand surgeon to have space on the operating list, which was not good, so he had to re-break the bone and I was in plaster for 9 weeks in total. When the plaster was removed, I couldn't move the wrist to begin with due to so much pain. But I saw an outstanding hand therapist, who was kind, empathetic, and knew exactly what I needed at each stage of my recovery. She had different ideas each time I visited her which moved me on to the next stage. Initially I thought I wouldn't get much movement back, but due to the hand therapist I can now type, cycle and play the piano again. Thank you so much!

Arrived 10 minutes early and was told the clinic was running 1 hour late. The receptionists were polite and allowed me to go away and come back 30 minutes later. When I was finally called to the appointment, the doctor was obviously in a rush and didn't listen to my concerns at all. I was told they had none of my scans, so couldn't tell me anything anyways. The doctor was very dismissive, seemed to just want to get rid of me and get through his list for the day. Obviously hated his job and didn't care about helping

This hospital has thoroughly restored my faith in the NHS. I visited for the first time last week and was so impressed. I would rate it the best hospital to be referred to from Manchester. The staff are informative, helpful and have everything running smoothly. It is very clean and all departments well sign posted. Waiting times were excellent and parking was free. The consultant we saw took her time and most importantly listened. Her information was clear and concise. Well done Trafford General a service to be proud off.

My mum attended the MRI Department today. She is wheelchair bound. The staff were so kind, caring, reassuring, professional and overall amazing. I could not fault them. They helped with mums transfer from her wheelchair to the MRI trolley direct so she didn’t have to be moved twice. They were so kind with mum and nothing was too much trouble. What a great team. The appointment was on time, the receptionist called for mums transport as she went into the scanner so it would be quicker for her journey home. Thank you everyone

From reception to nurses to doctors. Very positive experience. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and informative. Even staff on the corridors when I got a bit lost, stopped to help. Cannot fault. FIVE *****

I came in for a pre-op appointment and the nurse I saw was wonderful, she made me feel completely at ease, clearly explained the process, answered all of my questions and asked the questions she needed to in a way which was comfortable and enjoyable in spite of the personal nature of some of them. I cannot praise her enough she was fantastic. The lady on reception was also wonderful she was welcoming and put me completely at ease. I look forward to my surgery and from my experience today I know I will be in safe hands, thank you so much.
