  1. Review titled In and Out in 1 Hour- Xray for Sprained Ankle

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Philip T - Posted on 16 April 2024

Fantastic experience today. Free parking, probably not enough spaces. Turned up at 9am, filled in a form. Saw a nice lady. Checked my foot, x-ray organised, back in after 5 mins, they explained the issue and what I needed to do to recover. Left the car park at 10am. The NHS at it best!

  2. Review titled So impressed

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had reason to attend the minor injuries unit at Townlands this week with ankle damage. I was so impressed at the friendly, efficient way I was triaged, x-rayed, diagnosed and treated. All in less than 90 minutes! I would definitely recommend anyone eligible to use this service.

  3. Review titled NHS at its best

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mike Staples - Posted on 11 October 2023

I recently attended the minor injuries unit and was very impressed by the efficiency, competence and welcoming attitude of the staff I encountered. This is my third visit in two years and have had the same experience each time. This is the NHS at its best - short waiting time, efficient friendly service, being treated with compassion and respect, limited paperwork and not having to justify medical status or be presented with a bill. It’s a great asset to the community. It is a pity that we don't have such a facility in Watlington any more where older, less mobile residents could easily go without having to rely on taxis or volunteer drivers.

  4. Review titled Thumbs up for the Minor Injuries Unit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sean Fleming - Posted on 16 July 2023

Everyone takes the time to write and complain or to give negative feedback. I just wanted to say thank you to the people working at the Minor Injuries Unit this Sunday (16 July). Really friendly and super helpful. Also, I was seen well within the displayed waiting time, which is always hugely appreciated.

  8. Review titled Highly efficient Minor Injuries Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Colin Love - Posted on 25 May 2023

We visited the Minor Injury Unit as I had a fall following discharge from hospital, and was in a lot of pain in my back and ribs. The reception team were so helpful when we called in advance, and once we arrived, were friendly and supportive. We were seen by a paramedic within 10 minutes of arriving and he did a very thorough and informative check up - we left feeling reassured and with valuable pain management advice - all in less than an hour. Thank you so much Townlands - Henley is so lucky to have this resource on their doorstep!

  10. Review titled Rubbish treatment from reception team

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 16 April 2023

Rude and unsupportive . We been sent away due to catchment area , you are given the feel of inadequacy “we only work with Oxfordshire..” while the N in nhs stands for national. You might think that they are there to offer help to the public but apparently to only select few .
