    I had a hip operation the beginning of this year. The care I received was first rate from the surgeon, Nurses, Physio, catering, cleaners and room. The only disappointing part of the whole experience, was on the day I was discharged. Getting equipment and tablets to come home, was no problem. But trying to get the discharge letter took nearly 5 hours, with me keep asking and asking for it. When I left the hospital their was no nurse to see me out of the hospital.

    From pre consultation to post operative care was excellent. Nursing and medical very professional and answered all questions. The experience was let down on the cleaning of the room. It was not cleaned once. My bin in my room and bathroom was not emptied once. Rubbish was actually on the floor.

    I had surgery and apart from my appointment being cancelled twice, when I eventually got there the service was excellent. The staff were caring and totally professional., from the bottom to the top, everyone was friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi was non existent and I had no signal for my phone which made contacting my husband difficult. The food was fairly good, but I will always remember how lovely everyone was. The physio visits were badly planned. I was admitted at 7 am and had surgery at 11am and the physios visited as I was going to theatre! They came back just after tea was brought, less than an hour after I came from theatre! I couldn’t concentrate on what was being said as I was a bit fuzzy. Couldn’t they check with ward staff when would be the best time to visit a patient. They did seem to be in a bit of a rush.

I'm sorry to hear about your complications with our WIFI, we are in the middle of an upgrade at the moment which will in turn improve signal for our patients around the hospital.
