I attended the Endoscopy Dept for a colonoscopy as part of a screening programme due to family history of bowel cancer. The staff were very professional and friendly and fully explained all about the procedure and possible after effects. I was very impressed by the dept and feel I received excellent care.

From start to finish I was kept informed about what would happen and when, I felt looked after and valued as an individual not just a number. My recovery time after the procedure was not rushed and I was not discharged until all checks had been repeated numerous times. I was given a verbal to do list and also written which is greatly appreciated when you've just had sedation.

The care I've received before during and after the operation was excellent and I cannot fault anything at all. The staff were all very professional in all areas I had dealings with and the care was second to none. As well as the medical staff the catering staff were amazing too!

From initial consultation to final physiotherapy the service I received was of the highest standard. All staff were very friendly and always treated me with great expertise and professionalism. I am now pain free and looking forward to getting my life back . I cannot thank you enough.

Email s not drawn to the attention of the recipient. No answer to the consultant s secretary extension. Wrong email confirmation of a telephone appointment causing confusion Slow response due to letter s written and typed by secretary. This is 2023 !!

My surgeon was amazing. However the care after was not the standard in which I expected from a private hospital I was booked to stay for 2 nights initially, however the hospital were made very aware this would not be long enough to recover from the surgery due to a pre existing condition. On night 3 I was horrified to be told I was going to be sent to nhs hospital as my 2 nights were up. I was also told that I was a nhs patient so my time had expired basically. Horrified I explained that I was fee paying and we had emptied our bank account to pay for this op. I spent the evening very distressed and worried. I felt that the care then declined from there. My time was up! Mistakes started to be made and I new I had to get out of there. I have never been so scared in my life.

It was my very first surgery experience. Was very pleased with all care and attention from hospital staff during my stay. I have received very professional care and want to thank all the doctors and nurses who was watching after me.

I was only in the hospital for a couple of days my stay was lovely the nurses were great looked after me very well always coming in to see if I was ok my surgery was a success and my surgeon was great and the food was fantastic just like to say a big thank you to everyone who looked after me you are all amazing
