    It took 4 weeks to get an appointment for an MRI scan and I now have to wait 2 months to see the surgeon following my MRI. This is not acceptable. In the meanwhile I am left in pain with nothing but paracetamol and absolutely no idea of what is causing such awful life limiting pain or a resolution to the misery it causes me.

    Even though the staff are all overly, brilliant nurses and the doctors are brilliant - the waiting times are atrocious! Every single time I've come to Renacres I've waited over an hour to be seen; ridiculous, they over book and don't organise properly so you're left waiting absolutely ages in pain in waiting rooms to be seen !!!

    I had a major problem with an admin issue. This was rectified professionally by the receptionist who showed concern and empathy. This restored my confidence in the hospital. I had been concerned as I’m awaiting surgery in the new year.

    Supposed to be booked in for injections consultant told me to ring for a cancellation appointment rang to be told they would ring me back that was two weeks ago rang on 20th September to be told I was not even booked in from 5th September left in pain again

    Hi first impressions of the hospital were good then changed with their communication and attitude My procedure was cancelled on the day they provided initially by letter through no fault of my own and then also a second time. Contacting the hospital proved to be extremely difficult and my calls were left unanswered and no direct email was available or provided. When I was contacted by them on withheld numbers the staff were always abrupt, The attitude of the staff was rude, discourteous, abrupt, bordering on arrogant! Each time I was contacted I was in work and explained this and just faced the same ongoing attitude. I suspect this is down to the fact I wasnt actually a paying private patient and had been referred by my GP! Was spoken to like I was burdening them and just an annoyance. All in all has left a very negative impression of what initially presents as as a nice professional hospital from the outside. A lovely building and great marketing give off a very good impression. Unfortunately this is then let down by staff attitude, poor telephone manner and just rude abrupt staff. Im sure if a few thousand pounds is being paid your journey may be a little different!! To sum up a, very negative experience from start to finish resulting in me cancelling all procedures and contact with the place. Staff attitude, politeness and communication is always key in any organisation and not only for people paying lots of money!

    Well had an appointment to take about the results from a private MRI scan I had done which showed gallstones. The appointment left me feeling confused and frustrated as the consultant said yes you have gallstones but the pain you are experiencing is coming from somewhere else . I was then asked what I would like to do one minute the consultant said remove my gallbladder if I wanted to the next he said in his opinion it wouldn’t help my pain as I am experiencing sickness, diarrhoea and abdominal pain apparently these symptoms are not common with gallstones. Even though I presented findings from a scan . So being referred back to my GP got to say very frustrating and does nothing for me .

    Had a consultation on 5th September told me he would book me in for injections ring for cancellation rang told they would ring back no phone call rang again to be told they no nothing about booking still no date and still in a lot of pains don’t care for NHS patients

    I recently had a knee replacement and the staff from my first appointment to the surgical team to the physio department were all fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone at Renacres Hospital.

    Choosing Renacres for my Hip replacement was the start of a wonderful journey. From my first appointment I was treated with care and respect and kept fully informed of the procedure. on the day of the operation the Anaesthetist put me at ease and escorted me to the operating theatre, 1.5 hours later I was back in my room and being cared for by the nurses, over the next two days I can honestly say that treatment, care and attention I received was truly marvelous, every aspect including the food, the cleanliness and willingness of the nurses to help in anyway they could. I have recommended this hospital and its staff to all my family and friends. The physio department guided me through what to expect after leaving hospital and advised on a range of exercises to get me back on my feet. I am able to enjoy my country walks again and feel as if I have gained my life back after the last year of pain and discomfort Thank you for all youv'e done.
