Treated for Spinal Decompression Laminectomy. Staff, Care etc were second to none. Made my stay as stress free as possible, would recommend to anyone.

Attended Renacres for hip replacement surgery. I had slight anxiety about this procedure but all the staff were absolutely 1st class and the actual operation went very well as all concerned made me very comfortable.Was in there for a couple of nights and was well looked after.Thanks again.

After being in severe pain for more than 3 years with arthritis in my lower spine I was referred to Renacres for pain management. I really was extremely anxious. I was to have an epidural in my lower spine and was absolutely dreading it. The nurses where fantastic and really put me at ease and the procedure carried out by the doctor took less than 5 minutes, he was such a kind, caring doctor and could obviously sense my anxiety. I am now pain free for the 1st time in more than 3 years. I would recommend Renacres Hospital and it’s fantastic staff. Please pass on my complete gratitude to all those staff at the day ward and those in the theatre. Thank you all so much.

i had knee replacement 18 months ago and it went wrong, so had to get a manipulation under anesthetic 3 months later. so i was told after 12 months would be called back to check everything okay and have xray to check implant not moved. i heard nothing and have experienced both pain and problems with knee. so rang and complained and was given appointment for two months later to see consultant and have xray. went today for it and it has been cancelled no one has contacted rang text or anything. im now being told i have to have an early morning one a month later. while still in pain and discomfort. also no apology or explanation. so they dont seem to care about their NHS patients? i will have to see now if doctor can help get me help and xray to check my knee out.

My care at Renacres was a complete shambles and it resulted in me cancelling my operation. If you have worries or concerns it's probably best not to call them as the only thing it will do is raise your blood pressure. Their phone system makes it impossible to speak to anyone and when you can you get diverted to voicemails and answer phones. I was worried about the impact of existing condition upon my operation and they just didn't listen to my concerns properly. There was no option to speak directly with medical staff - I was literally going to have to wait until just before the operation to speak to the anaesthetist about my existing issues. A frustrating, infuriating experience which has made me consider cancelling my medical insurance.

Thank you - I had a hip replacement and whole service was fantastic - surgeon, anaesthetist, nurses, physio’s and meals lady all looked after me so well and were so caring. I would thoroughly recommend Renacres.
