    As a visitor to the area I required treatment in the emergency department. From reception to discharge from your out of hours GP service the care was excellent. The department was extremely busy but each member of staff ,from reception, triage nurse and finally your GP ensured I received the best care . Kind , attentive and professional in extremely difficult circumstances. I thank you all

    Dear NHS, My brother was in intensive care and I would like to give amazing feedback to the nurses that have looked after him for the last 10days but in particular today he was been taking care of by a student nurse who I believe was in her 2nd year. The attention to detail, empathy and caring nature that was displayed from her was amazing. My family and I can not that you enough! You will go far in your career! 10*** service. Many thanks,

    I went to A&e on 25.2.24. I would just like to give a big thanks for the excellent level of care I received. The receptionist, triage nurse, nurse taking bloods and the doctor were all very professional, caring and reassuring. Well done.

    Excellent department, great service by the team. I had a a gastroscopy this morning 5/1/24 . They could not have been nicer , or, more professional . Well done , it was almost an enjoyable procedure. Once again many thanks. Robert Irvine.

    Mum came in via A&E on Friday evening at 7pm with atrial fibrillation and we felt we were in safe hands for 6 hours until discharged from resus. Each department that dealt with us linked to the next and we were kept informed at every stage of test results, estimated waiting times and next steps. The staff were exemplary - working efficiently and attentively at each step: triage, A&E, initial doctor's consultation, xray department, resus department and cardiac doctor consultation. Thank you so much, you should all be so proud of your team that can provide a service of this quality.

    I cannot praise enough. From A&E where I began my 5 week stay to Critical Care, to Ward 1. I'm extremely grateful to everyone who helped get me well & home to my family. From the consultants, Drs, Nurses,HCA's Housekeeping and the coffee trolly chap. Thankyou.

    I can't quite believe that someone would think it's OK to let children walk past older people very poorly on beds in corridors to get to the waiting room for the children's area. Couldn't they have a separate entrance? I do appreciate there is not a big area for A&e. It's quite upsetting for children to see this. Also the 4 hrs I was there I did not see one cleaner the place was dirty and smells of wee! The nurses and receptionist were very helpful and kind. Alot to say for the doctor he was very rude and not one bit interested like we shouldn't have been there. I was told to go from my GP I didn't just arrive off my own back!

    Whilst there was a huge 24 hour patient journey through A&E on Fri 26th Jan I would like to highlight one HCA's excellent nursing practice. I had heard her deal with a few patients and she was professional, kind, honest and knowledgeable. After 8 hours this nurse managed to find my 91 year old mum a hospital bed and a cubicle. She was so thrilled to be able to provide this luxury for a person in extreme pain. I can't thank you enough but I didn't get your name . Thank you, and I hope you go on to develop your career because you really made a difference.

    I visited A andE as I was in a lot of pain with my knee and leg, I did wait for about 7 hours, but the doctors and staff was very busy, The Doctors was lovely, did all they could Diagnosed the problem gave me some medication, the service wa outstanding, all the staff was lovely, polite and had humour, that is why I have given them five stars, because they was so nice under pressure thank you Macc hospital

    During my visit to the above ward on Sunday 28th January 2024 between 6 and 7 in the evening I was very disturbed to see a male patient being aggressive in the reception area and coming into the ladies only ward and would not leave when asked to do so. The staff did not know how to deal with this man. Surely this patient is breaking the security rules for other patients. My wife is in hospital to try and recover from a serious illness , this sort of incident is totally unacceptable and some urgent action should be taken to remove this aggressive behaviour. I hold the hospital totally responsible should anything happen . There is not enough staff at the weekend to deal with this sort of behaviour
