We experienced extremely poor communication. Nurses would not return when we voiced our queries etc - when we were told they would go and find out what was happening/an update, they did not come back and it would be hours before someone would reappear for us to try and find out more information again. They did not seem to communicate well with each other either as most of them weren’t aware of the whole situation (from what they had said to us) Would have completed a feedback form upon discharge for negative feedback but I suspect the reason we weren’t given the form to complete is because they knew it would not be positive and it would ‘skew’ their current feedback percentages This was for Bluebell.

Waiting in a telephone queue to find out when or if I have an appointment. Was supposed to be 6 weeks after initial appointment- it is now 2 and a half months ! I have been in a queue for half an hour and only no 5 in queue. Absolutely disgraceful that you expect people to sit and sit and sit waiting for you to reply

The team of nurses, doctors and other auxiliary staff, that treated me, when I arrived unannounced were absolutely brilliant, from the moment I was booked in to A&E, to my discharged from SAU, it showed to me what an excellent NHS we are lucky to have. Everything was interlinked and worked perfectly. Very hard working staff extremely caring and nothing was too much trouble, everything was explained in very understandable terms, so nothing came as a surprise very caring and compassionate. I had scans, blood tests, pain relief, examinations, oxygen, and nebulisers to name but a few, exactly when they said it would happen. I cannot praise these dedicated people enough.

I think Lister hospital is great and the Cardiology department certainly saved my life for which I am eternally grateful That was 5 years ago and I had a recent echocardiogram and was frantically awaiting the results I got a text and a letter telling me to be by my phone at 2.30 on 20 May No call came I waited until 18:00 No call I had tried calling the helpline number on the letter but the recorded message said after a very long list that this was not the number for echocardiogram So not a brilliant experience

Unfortunately I had to wait 18 months and several chase ups to a very non responsive Urology dept to now finally have been seen. But I cannot fault all the Treatment Centre staff including the very friendly Anaesthetists, the Surgeon - all of whom were working flat out all day and were still so very kind, caring and supportive. Thank you all, I'm recovering well.

I was referred to Emergency Dept by my doctor who thought I may have an infection in my knee which was very painful. Right from the booking in, blood test and x-ray the nurses were efficient and caring. The wait was not long before I was triage to orthopaedics. Thank you.

An absolutely amazing bunch of doctors and nurses looked after me extremely well for 2 days last week. However I can only describe the food as tepid and quite disgusting. At least heat the food up and improve the quality please.

Despite the department being busy the doctors and staff paid great attention to all needing help. They were rushed off their feet but always served with great professionalism and courtesy. The doctor on duty took the time to explain to me the best way to get maximum benefit from the service. The team worked together flawlessly and I as a patient felt valued and well cared for. Keep up the good work

My experience of the maternity care provided by Lister hospital was amazing. All of the staff I encountered throughout my pregnancy were so lovely and supportive. I stayed on the Dacre ward before transferring to the Labour ward and then finally staying on Gloucester Ward. The staff were absolutely amazing, they were welcoming and caring. I loved that everyone said "Congratulations" on our new baby, it was such a personal touch. I really couldn't fault any of my experience with maternity services, I would highly recommend!

I attended urgent care with a knee injury and was seen within 2hrs by a very professional and knowledgeable nurse had x rays taken and a referral to fracture clinic. I was expecting a long wait for this appointment however I was given an appointment within a week and seen by an orthopedic surgeon who assessed me and gave me a treatment plan. From start to finish the care and service I received was perfect!
