    Staff was exceptional sue was outstanding kept me calm reasured surgeon fully explain all aspects and can't fault them to kind lady in reception who spoke to me before and after, and the young man who helped me to find the reception so could find the ward outstanding service thank you all

    Just wanted to provide some positive feedback about my experience and treatment at KGH on Wednesday early morning from 1am until my discharge later on in the afternoon. I came in after a blood test earlier in the day after being contacted by NHS direct to come into hospital as I had an extremely low hemoglobin level. I know that there is a long wait at A&E, but the team got to me quickly and within an hour I was in the ED, I did have to wait for tests etc and was given a blood transfusion from 0900 Wednesday. I was well looked after by the Nurses on duty at the ED ward and also by the consultant who came to see me around 7am. Please convey my thanks to all the team involved in my care, as I know that the NHS is sometimes at the receiving end of bad reviews. There are unfairly of long wait times at A&E, which was evident whilst I was waiting. Whilst not the fault of the trust, it is purely down to funding by the Government, who appear to want to bring our NHS to its knees :-( Thank you for the care that I received during my treatment at KGH.
