Review titled Effective care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mrs Pamela Watkinson - Posted on 05 November 2023
My daughter was seen quickly and efficiently in a&e 10 out of 10. Got the prescription she needed desperately for her illness. However if our GP and 111 had been more effective, and listened to us, in numerous telephone calls to them, in the first place, she would never have had to attend a&e, it is inappropriate, but her condition was worsening. Thankfully she is on the mend now

Review titled Awful
Rated 1 star out of 5

I had vaccum assisted operation on my breast in October and was told I would get the results within a few weeks. I am still trying to get them. When I finally get through I am told that only a nurse can give me my results and when I am told that the nurse will call me back she never does. When you are waiting to hear back about cancer results and you are told you will be told on Tue and you sit and wait with the phone with your family on standby all day and the call never comes this is extremely stressful. I only hope the people in charge of running this results department never have to wait themselves for a cancer result and if they do I hope they don’t wait for 3 months.

Kind and friendly staff when I attended an appointment recently. Nurse then went beyond duty by sorting out repeat orders of a new product. Thank you.

Review titled Treated me with the utmost care
by Diagh75 - Posted on 24 August 2023
I'm not often moved to give feedback but wanted the service to know the the CNS I saw today is an absolute asset. She was professional and reassuring throughout. Both she and her colleague treated me with the utmost care and attention and made me totally at ease. This is so important in a situation that doesn't lend itself to good vibes. Bravo.

Review titled Prompt care and expert treatment
by David281 - Posted on 10 August 2023
My GP referred me in September 2021 as my PSA was marginally raised. Two weeks later an MRI at Queens hospital Romford revealed suspicious areas within the prostate. I went on to have prostate biopsy at King George Hospital Redbridge, which confirmed early cancer. In October 2021 I underwent robot assisted radical prostatectomy at Westmorland Hospital. I was discharged the next day. Follow up still continues. I am so grateful to all units for their prompt care and expert treatment.

I had an appointment for Elm Ward today Saturday 12th August and was a bit apprehensive as it was the weekend, but i can't give enough praise for the efficiency of the Nurses and Doctors who I was seen by. I was called on time, and my problem was dealt with thoughly and careringly and i was given my results within the hour. Can't thank them enough.

Review titled Gross malpraxis from nursing staff
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Ovidiu Andrisan - Posted on 03 July 2023
What kind of hospital employee does not check the dietary requirement of a pacient before feeding him whatever after waking up for general anesthesia? This one. And than how can a nurse ask someone following a vegan diet for whatever reasons if fish is ok, what kind of training do you get? Absolutely disgusting a schoking, hospital in London 2023

I was a patient at the hospital on the 4th of July 2023. I underwent neurosurgery in my spine via my neck. The neurosurgeon, who carried out my surgery was the absolute best I could have had. I would like to thank him and all his staff for the treatment I received and my after care. I am currently Recuperating at home.

Review titled Terrible just terrible
Rated 1 star out of 5

I’m writing this review, whilst I am still sitting in A&E, waiting to be seen after 3 1/2 hours waiting. I understand the NHS is in great difficulty right now, however to leave a patient who has cut her hand quite badly and has gone through 2 towels of blood. I have asked to please get a nurse to look at my hand but no, I’m still sitting here, even though four people that came in after me, have already been seen and left. I should’ve gone to Whipps Cross, at least acknowledge you. This is just terrible
