Review titled Excellent care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Caroline Harrington - Posted on 30 April 2025
I went to the new Ealing Hospital diagnostic centre for a chest CT scan. I’m a disabled person who relies on patient transport, unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, my transport didn’t pick me up until 2 hours after my original appointment time. I called the hospital to explain, they were kind enough to fit me in. When I arrived at the lovely Reception area, the lovely young lady on reception booked me in. I didn’t wait more than 10 minutes to have my scan. The staff in the CT room were so helpful, friendly and patient. They helped me get on and off the bed of the scanner, and got me extra aids to support my back and legs as I can’t lay flat. Once done, I was wheeled back to the main reception, where the friendly and very polite receptionist booked my transport ready. The receptionist was so very kind to ask if I wanted some lunch, as it’s normal to wait an average of 1-2 hours to be collected. She even went to the Kitchen herself to get it for me, I was so grateful as I had lots of tablets to take that I wasn’t allowed to take prior to my scan. The lunch was so nice, a fresh sandwich of my choice, packet of crisps, an apple and some orange juice. The receptionist didn’t have to do that for me, it was incredibly thoughtful of her. I wish I had got her name so I could mention her personally by her name. I’d just like to offer my sincere gratitude to all the staff I encountered today, they all are a credit to the NHS. Thank you so much ladies.

Review titled Walk In X Ray
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 04 April 2025
I have just been to the "Walk In" X ray service at Ealing (to have my foot X rayed!). I was probably lucky with my timing but I was in the hospital for only 15 minutes altogether. The staff were all courteous and friendly and understanding of my poor hearing. PS Why doesn't the Xray dept. feature on your list of services?

Review titled Unbelievable care and communication
Rated 5 stars out of 5

My elderly Deaf client was sent to 6 North with a kidney infection. The care and communication from all the staff was the best I have ever experienced in a hospital and I go to a lot of different hospitals. Thank you so very much to all of you for all the care and support you showed her and her family. It was truly exceptional

Review titled Outstanding care
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I received the best service from the most amazing professional team. Everyone was caring and understanding. The anaesthetists deserve a special mention for their humour and reassurance at a point when I was at my most anxious. I am incredibly grateful to everyone for their compassion at a time when the NHS is under the most ridiculous pressure..

Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

During January I was admitted through A&E 3 times for a racing heart. Despite being some of the busiest days of the year for A&E, we were treated very promptly (in and out within 3 hours including a barrage of tests), the staff were efficient, caring, responsive and courteous. Could not praise them highly enough. And on being admitted twice, care remained excellent, as was the food.

I was asked to report to 3 South Day Surgery Ward, Ealing Hospital at 07:30 for registration. I was greeted at the entrance by the Ward Sister and shown to my bed. She is a very caring and helpful young lady and I am very grateful to her.

Review titled Again a fantastic and superb service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Darren Lorente - Posted on 25 November 2024
I was unlucky in that I had to visit the hospital in two occasions over a short period of time, first for my son and then for my wife - totally unrelated issues- and the nurses and doctors were fantastic and gave us all the support and advice we required. The NHS is fabulous and Ealing is really just fantastic
