  1. Review titled Ward 7 South staff at Ealing Hospital

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Parminder Mann - Posted on 31 March 2024

A shout out to all the staff on the Gastrology ward (7 south) at Ealing Hospital. My brother is currently an inpatient there and the staff have gone above and beyond to provide excellent care. What stands out is the kindness they have extended not only to him but to us as a family. Every single member of staff is under tremendous pressure taking care of so many patients with multiple medical needs. But this has not stopped them from seeing patients as their main priority. Deeply grateful for what you have done for my brother. Thank you.

  2. Review titled Truly wonderful nurses

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 17 March 2024

Our dear mother has been here over a week, first in A&E, then in two wards. We have met probably 50-60 different nurses and every single one has been incredible. Wonderfully kind and caring to Mum and to us, making her last days peaceful and comfortable. We can’t thank you enough.

  3. Review titled Terrible and disorganised practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

A pre surgery assessment was arranged for my knee surgery so I booked the time off work so I was free for the appointment call but no one called me. I am in disbelief. I tried calling the hospital but they couldn’t put me through to the team so now I don’t know what’s happening with my surgery. After a year and a half of waiting on the waiting list, they just didn’t bother calling me for my pre operation appointment

  4. Review titled Caring and professional staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Misha - Posted on 18 December 2023

Honestly I don't know how the staff do it but every single member of the team that treated me or I saw around me gave every patient The care and respect they deserved. I take my hat off to them. I went to urgent care, was transferred to A&E and the to Acute medical care, I encountered the xray team, pharmacists, consultants, nurses and porters. All amazing. Despite being busy, stretched and clearly not have the physically space to treat people. I thought they were organised and I felt they were doing everything they could to see people as quickly as they could. Also witnessed them dealing professionally in the face of abuse from patients. I have luckily never had to use the NHS on this scale and was surprised at how good it was. I would love to thank individuals

  5. Review titled Excellent doctores and nurses in A&E

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Joëlle Randall - Posted on 09 December 2023

We often read negative reviews about the state of the NHS and its hospitals. As a French national I was admitted as an emergency on Friday. The level of competence, care from the doctors and nurses was amazing. Only downside was the 9 hours wait but at the end of the day, it was well worth it. These people work so hard. They deserve our appreciation.

  7. Review titled Great staff at the Urgent Treatment / A&E staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by NC Poon - Posted on 11 September 2023

The staff at the Urgent Treatment / A&E, from security personnel to the receptionists, the cleaners, and the medical professionals are kind, patient, and forbearing with every one. Two experiences stand out: 1. the medical doctor who attended to my injury treated me as a person -- with attentive listening -- and not simply as a 'case' that needs to be dealt with hurriedly. 2. The security staff treated someone who was rude with huge forbearing and gentleness. Never did they lose temper while dealing with a difficult situation.

  8. Review titled Good Personable experience

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Hema St Claire - Posted on 15 September 2023

I was admitted to Brunel ward level 3 for day surgery, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I felt at ease with both the anaesthetist and surgeon who came to speak with me along with ward staff. My ward staff lady was amazing and had excellent bedside manner making me feel comfortable and at ease during my stay. my only complaint is that I was discharged and not seen by a doctor to explain to me how my procedure went and what possible next steps may be, as I learnt after reading my discharge note that they found more than the Gyni had said I was suffering from.

  9. Review titled Great A&E Staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Dan - Posted on 12 August 2023

I had to attend A&E at Ealing hospital for a friend who hurt her ankle last night. The place was packed but the staff could not have been more friendly. We were in and out, including an xray and crutches, in under 2 hours. The reception staff were quick and friendly. The nursing staff were very helpful, even trying to find a wheelchair. Thankyou for all your help, you all do such a great and difficult job.

  10. Review titled Rapid effective care - the NHS lives!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 August 2023

My husband had a serious breathing crisis this morning. The ambulance arrived within about 5 mins, with fantastic staff who were calm, reassuring, caring and practical. He was immediately taken to Ealing Hospital where he was seen by a doctor within a few minutes. Blood was taken for tests straight away and he was taken for x-ray within about 20 mins. After x-ray, he was returned to A&E to see the consultant who discussed his condition and prescribed antibiotics. We went home with the consultant already emailing my husband's specialist to let him know what had happened. At a time when we hear almost nothing but criticism of the NHS, we felt we had received truly first-class care and attention. It is wonderful to see terrific clinical care in action and to know this is going on despite all the difficulties - and despite it being the first day of another junior doctors' strike! Thank you to everyone in A&E, and thank you Ealing Hospital!
