    I took an outpatient for treatment at 19.00 on Friday 24th November, and found the paypoint machine very difficult to manage. To enter my car registration mumber I had to bend down and turn on the flashlight on my mobile phone to see the buttons. Without doing this I would not have been able to complete the process. Why not have everything at eye level?

    I received exemplary treatment in the Orthopaedic Ward 9 during my stay for a full knee replacement . From the pre assessment appointment to the actual surgery and post surgery care I could not fault the staff and the facilities. That being said the shine was taken off my stay whilst waiting for my medication from the pharmacy. As you can imagine I was very keen to get home and start my recuperation. Unfortunately, My wife and I had to wait for almost 5 hours before my medication arrived. Please note that this is not a complaint against the pharmacy per se but more related to the service that was supplied . I have no doubt that they are always busy but I was given the strong impression that waits of this length or longer were not uncommon . This leads me to the conclusion that a review of the service is needed with a view to cutting waiting times.

    From the moment of doubt. Through to diagnosis and surgery, the centre has been fantastic. It should bevysedcss a template for all care. Kind. Informative. Speedy. Efficient. Well organised and unhurried. I feel very lucky to have been referred there.

    Visited this department today 17/8/2023 very nervous and apprehensive. The consultant and nurse were both very considerate and immediately put me at ease . Excellent experience, it felt good to know that you were with people that cared and you was not just another patient. I would have liked to have named the Consultant very pleased with the manner in which I was treated. Thank you

    Made an appointment 3 days ago, attended today. Very pleasant receptionist, reassuring and professional. Seen within minutes of arrival even though early. Very professional and gentle radiographer, who carried out the screening efficiently and reassuringly. She also explained the parking payment system to me, which was a relief. Castle Hill is as good, probably better, than any private facility. Excellent service. Thanks to our wonderful NHS and our excellent local services.

    I was referred to this department having been diagnosed with two areas of Basal Cell Carcinoma. The consultant was extremely friendly with a nice sense of humour and explained everything. In November 2023 I attended for an operation to remove the two areas, one needing a skin graft. The surgical team were absolutely superb, all extremely friendly and extremely easy to talk to. They made the whole thing totally drama free. The after care, removal of dressings etc was excellent and my final discharge interview in April this year was carried out by an extremely friendly and pleasant lady. The whole thing was handled extremely professionally with great care and appropriate humour which made a sort of pleasant experience of an unpleasant condition. Highly recommended

    Amazing, friendly, attentive staff put me at such ease as this was my first ever hospital stay! The ward and room I had were wonderful as was the food on the ward. Could not ask for anything more, to see such bubbly smiling staff during these difficult times was incredible. God bless the NHS

    I had to visit the Breast Department for a Mammogram and Ultra Sound Query a lump near my Lymph Glands under my right arm, from the Reception Staff to the first Nurse who examined me first to the Radiologist who performed my Mammogram to the Lady who performed my Ultra Sound I was treated with Care, Compassion and Patience, I want to say a Big Thank you to you all although it was a worrying experience these Ladies did a magnificent job of making me feel comfortable. Many Thanks Bob Wardell.
