I attended A&E at about 6:00pm on Monday 5th June 2023 as my doctor had advised me to do. After about 5 mins I actually collapsed The blue team were buzzed by the receptionist and before I knew it they had me into resus and were on the way to sorting my issues. The Doctor in charge was first class along with his team his bedside manor was brilliant and his management must be good as his blue teams attitude reflected his style . They then went to work on my issues and within minuets I was sitting up and feeling a lot better . I want to personally thank the Doctor in charge and his Blue team again for his speed of response and his ability to put me at ease I wish I could name him but not allowed on this site Thankyou all

I couldn’t thank or recommend the team at Bassetlaw for how incredible they were throughout my gruelling 4 day labour. Every individual working on the maternity, Labour and theatre wards were incredible - supportive, friendly, experienced, warm, caring and stern (when needed to be). A wonderful team & true credit to Bassetlaw hospital. Thank you again for being so amazing to myself and husband and ensuring the safest arrival of our baby boy.

Can I just say a massive thank you to the team in accident and emergency at Bassetlaw for the amazing treatment given to me after my latest asthma attack and also to all on c1 for their amazing care they gave me. You're simply the best xx

So many people complain regarding our NHS and local hospital! Well tonight I took my very poorly teenager to A&E around 7pm and I gave the best experience ever! He was triaged within 5 mins, bloods 7 mins and doctor 15 mins! He was on IV antibiotics and fluids within the hour, back home in just under 4 hours to his own bed to rest. Thank you so much to all the wonderful nurses and doctors he saw this evening. 21/6

Visited this evening with my baby. I was slightly worried about the time it would take to be seen but we were seen and sorted in a couple of hours. The triage children's nurse was lovely and so gentle with the baby. She did all of her checks without disturbing him to much. Then we waited a while and was seen by a doctor. Both staff seemed like they genuinely care for children and took their time to listen, diagnose and discuss.

I attended the Endoscopy unit last Saturday which was something I wasn’t looking forward to😬 however my experience was superb (I still wouldn’t volunteer for another visit) but a not so nice procedure was made so much better by a great team of people 😊 From walking through the door I was put at ease, informed of what to expect, updated on my procedure as it was being performed and given an evaluation once it was complete. Superb department Superb staff 10/10 Thank you so much for your care and attention 😀😀

I recently had surgery at Worksop Bassetlaw Hospital and from the initial pre op assessment to the surgery and aftercare, my entire experience was extremely good. I am a very anxious person, but the nurses and theatre staff did all they could to allay my fears. I found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful and I even got a hug as I left to come home. I was almost reluctant to leave these wonderful care givers. From the depth of my heart, I wish to thank each and every one of you for making my stay a good one!

I attended today to have a check up on a umbilical hernia, the doctor was very professional and recommended a blood test and at a later date a CT scan. At the blood test I experienced a very rude and unhelpful person doing the blood test, as a 61 year old male I have old fashioned values and politeness costs nothing, i also realise the pressure NHS staff are under but being rude isn't the answer. I don't know if my next appointment will be here but I'm sincerely hoping not

I had a mastectomy yesterday in the day care surgery. It was a positive experience, the staff were tremendous. All grades of staff and roles worked well as a team and I felt very well cared for. The food and drinks offered afterwards were good and plentiful, pain relief was offered and given quickly. The discharge process was quick and efficient. I know there are criticism's within the NHS but I don't think praise is always appreciated when it is faultless. Thank you to everyone from the surgeon, anaesthetist , theatre team and all the staff working in the day case surgical unit for making me feel so safe and comfortable.
