    Done everything I need, I feel like I am being looked after. Also Very proactive with recall. Great Clinical Team from blood takers to Nurses to GP's.

    I have been a patient at this surgery for over 10 Years and have since had 2 sons whom are also registered here. I have nothing but positive praise for this surgery. Have always been treated with respect by boh the receptionists and any GPs I have seen. My youngest son has an auto inflammatory disorder and before he was diagnosed we had numerous appointments whilst he was unwell. The doctor referred him to a peadiatrician but in the meantime organised blood tests for him that would speed this up once he was to be seen. The lady who did the bloods on my 3 Year old son was paient, reassuring and very gentle to both my son and myself as I was very anxious. I have no problem getting an appointment and if i couldnt get a face to face appointment was always spoken too over the phone. My personal experience has also been positive. I have monthly medication which i order online and is always available when i go to the pharmacy for it. I would recommend this surgery to anyone looking for a Family GP Practice.

    I have been with woodlands practice for the majority of my life. I have never had a bad thing to say. Great doctors and nurses. The receptionists have always been really friendly and very helpful. My more recent experiences for myself and my two children I have particularly found the picture system really useful, they send you a link, you upload pictures of the problem (if possible) the Dr then sees the pictures and contacts you with advice or to make an appointment if needs be. I understand this isn’t easy for everyone but if this is an option use it, we can help free up face to face appointments for those who really need them. We used this with my 6 month old baby who had a viral rash, my little boy who had tonsillitis & myself with a flare up of psoriasis just to name a few in the past few weeks, my prescription is then sent straight away to my local Asda which I can collect the same day. Couldn’t ask for better. Thank you for all your hard work and continued advice & care !

    I called and spoke to a receptionist who was rather abrupt and laid the law down with me re ordering repeat prescriptions. I didn't know the system had changed. All I required was double prescriptions as we were going away. The receptionist said she would do this, on this occasion but she didn't and I am not happy. When dealing with the public you can't afford to be not helpful, this is your job to be polite.

    Worst doctors practice I’ve ever been in contact with. Registered over a month ago for them to put the completely wrong name down and be told they couldn’t change it. Then when booking the telephone consultation they rang 2 hours after the initial appointment. Then told I wouldn’t be able to get another appointment for 3 weeks. If this is what it’s like to register then It must be awful for when people are sick. Can never get through on the phones and even then you have to wait about an hour for an answer to then be answered by rude staff. Wouldn’t recommend this surgery to anyone.

    Only been with this practice a short time but it is absolutely awful… can never get an appointment either face to face or a telephone consultation with a GP … Staff are not at all helpful that’s if you ever manage to get through to a receptionist… When you order repeat prescriptions not picked up from answering machine system leaving you without your relevant medication for days … The practice does not offer good patient care at all n in my opinion should close …

Please visit www.woodlandsmedicalpractice.com for useful information including e-consults, self help guides, prescriptions email address etc. We have removed the prescriptions voicemail to increase the number of staff on the phones and ask all patients to order their medication via the NHS app/ online platform/ email prescriptionswoodlands@nhs.net/ in writing placed in the boxes in either of our 2 sites or posted to either practices postal addresses. Please allow 2 working days for the prescription to be processed by the practice. Please check with the pharmacy of your choice for the time required by your pharmacy to prepare your medication. If you ever have any issues please call the practice 0161 357 2300 option 1 and ask to speak to the complaints manager.
