    Have been waiting to register as a new patient for nearly a month after completing the online forms, long waiting times to actually speak to anyone on the phone & then once I have got through, first I was told someone would call me back, they never did, second time I was told I could not be guaranteed that I would receive a call back & I’m still not registered, plus countless calls in between where I have given up waiting to get through. I will now register at another practice as it’s a joke. Good job I’m not in need of urgent prescriptions or medical appointments

    I am always impressed with the service of this practice. I moved to the practice a few years ago and I always receive excellent care from all staff members. During a recent call the receptionist was so helpful, accommodating my request and treating me with kindness and respect. The doctor called me and was very supportive and understanding, listening to me without judgement and providing helpful advice and information. I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

    Nurses are great once you are able to see them but the practice is very unorganised. I've had an appointment cancelled without being contacted properly and so I've turned up none the wiser to find I haven't got an appointment. And more recently been told to come in for bloods anytime until 7pm only to arrive again to be told I can't be seen. Its a waste of everyones time, extremely frustrating and very easily avoidable if all receptionists/admin are just on the same page and can communicate with patients effectively!

    They make it very difficult to order repeat prescriptions that I've been on for more than 6 years now. They don't call you when they say they will. They've also cancelled one of my longterm prescriptions for no reason without telling me. This prescription is vital for my health so I am very worried now.

    On Friday 21st July 2023, my appointment with Nurse was slightly delayed, but she greeted me with an apology for the wait and a warm, friendly smile. These small gestures made a significant difference to my experience and immediately put me at ease. The Nurse was attentive to my medical needs and provided spot-on recommendations. I must commend her for the exceptional knowledge, friendliness, customer focus, and welcoming attitude upon my visit. The surgery facility's layout and cleanliness are of a high standard, and I take pride in being one of their patients, based on this point. Despite the time constraints for each patient, they manage to deliver excellent service consistently. I want also want to thank the reception staff for also being helpful when booking appointments. The waiting time to book an appointment has improved drastically. Lastly, I want to express my gratitude for the outstanding service received.

    Been here quite a few ties and always manage to get an appointment. One thing i do not like is when you call at 8 your only offered a telephone consultation which i find ridiculous. Patients should have the option if they want a telephone appointment on the day or a face to face appointment not saying"the doctor will triage you etc" its just a waste of an appointment as following the call the GP would then book in the patient. Other than that the E consults are a great way of appointments, medication reviews etc.

    Not possible to make appointments although they ‘offer’ 3 different ways to do it, they made mistake in my blood test results, doctors refusing to see me, and their professional medical advice for months of constant headache was to drink water and jogging outside.

    Drs are great at the surgery. However multiple reception staff have been rude and reduced me to tears. Know others who have the same experience too. Reception staff are rude, short tempered and seem to resent patients calling them! Feel anxious every time I have to call the surgery. It is such a shame as the drs are great and the surgery is let down by this.

    I just wanted to leave some feedback regarding my recent experience with woodlands health centre over the last few months. I have been struggling with my mental health and I have been able to get appointments really quickly which have been vital to my recovery. The doctors have been so thorough and caring which has really helped reassure me. I have also the surgery to help complete some paperwork for an insurance claim and although this has taken a while to do the doctor called me on a Saturday to talk through and was again very thorough and helpful in assisting me with this. All you seem to hear is how much the nhs is struggling and whilst I don’t doubt that is the case, my experience with woodlands has not reflected that at all. Thanks to all the doctors and staff!

    Really unhelpful staff, impossible to get an appointment. If you do win the lottery and get one it is usually a telephone appointment and they never call when they are supposed to. I don't feel safe using this surgery. Also you cant see patient records as you can do with most NHS practices.

    Dear Patient, Firstly, I am sorry to hear that you had a negative experience at Woodlands Health Centre in relation to appointment access. At Woodlands HC, we offer same day appointments with all of our doctors and have a duty doctor on each day. When all same day appointments are filled, we do not turn patients away but offer a pool/waiting list which will be triaged and called through by a senior GP in the evening. Each week, we offer in excess of 500 appointments across all disciplines, to ensure there is enough access to meet the demand.
