    Been trying by telephone and calling into reception numerous times. Each time I am told all pre bookable appointments are taken and to come back next week. Difficult to schedule calls whilst at work! This has gone on since February when Practice nurse advised me to see a doctor. How does anyone get an appointment?

    Attended nurse practitioner appointment owing to ongoing chest infection. Reception is tidy and well organised. Easily used self check in on arrival. Appointment on time, clinician knowledgeable, understood my ongoing concerns Nurse Practitioner had read immediate note on my condition and I updated her on my chronic lung condition and asthma. Discussed my needs and again due to time of year ie close to Xmas she prescribed follow up medication whilst explaining in a non patronising way caution on over use of antibiotics, which I am aware. Further advice given and she checked I had sufficient rescue asthma inhalers.

    Had flu vaccinations booked since the end of August, turned up for them and the place was closed. No phone call or text to advise they had cancelled the appointments, time had been taken off work to fit in with their restricted access to appointments. Disgraceful, now face a 2 hour wait on the phone on Monday to try and rebook!!! This isn’t the first time vaccinations have been cancelled either, atleast last time someone called an hour before, not that that was much good but atleast we didn’t have to go up there.

    You aren't able to make follow up appointments after a doctor has requested to see you again, you are told to ring up at 8;30 or attend the practice which isn't possible for someone who works full time. I have previously had to ask my mother to attend and wait for an appointment for me in which they were told to stand outside in the cold for 'confidentiality' which is ironic as the reception staff have no problems discussing your test results or appointment info in front of the waiting area. As a young person with various ongoing medical conditions this practice has been little to no help and created more stress and frustration.

    Appalling system. It says it is an intelligent system but when told can't book until 8:30am and ring at that time to find you are 19 in the queue. Then after 31 minutes on hold and get to position 2 it cuts you off and have to start again!!!! Surprise, surprise when ring straight back I'm position 19 in the queue again! Why can't we book appointments in advance so that then leaves those needing assistance that day ringing at 8:30 and hopefully reduce the calls as the system obviously can't cope with it.

    I have been trying to book an apportionment to see the Doctor as he asked me to book it for the end of the month. However as the appointments are booked now I have to ring up at 8:30 am…..well I am at work and unable to do so. By my lunch brake all of the appointments are gone and I’m unable to book for the next week. That’s absolutely crazy…..why can’t I planned my appointment as the doctor plan my review? Poor receptionist, I feel sorry for them as they try to mange this system. Why appointments can be planned monthly? Why can’t I book when I can contact the GP and made the appointment according to my work schedule? Do I need to give up working to be able to call GP at 8:30am?

    It was such a pleasant experience starting with the reception staff. The receptionist was very polite, professional, welcoming and approachable. The doctor was caring, had the time to listen and made helpful suggestions. Everything was explained and I received information about my condition to take away. I left feeling reassured. I am very grateful to and appreciative of the staff in Woodbridge Practice. Thanks to all Thanks to you all
