  1. Review titled Rude receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

I finished a nightshift (in A&E) as a nurse I understand the pressures are high especially when short staffed however the rude attitude from the receptionist Friday 9th May 8am was shocking. A poor gentleman infront of me didn’t know how to use the self check in and she had stated he would wait a long time and needs to do it himself therefore I helped him he was very thankful. I came to book an appointment for ongoing palpitations, being tachycardic and generally unwell and wanting advice from my GP I didn’t even get questioned as to why I was there it was simply, “do a triage online” the gentleman who she booked in had an appointment for the same day when it came to me there were no appointments left for the day? At 08:10am after waiting almost 40 minutes ? Her attitude, bluntness and unhelpful manner is one of the reasons I’m leaving this GP it’s not very often I even book an appointment but it’s awful to see not just for myself but for anyone else like the poor gentleman infront who was unable to book himself in. Everyone goes through their own thing, and based off what I see in A&E it could be that 1 appointment that saves someone or that 1 person that can ruin someone’s whole day. Kindness and a smile costs absolutely nothing at all.

  2. Review titled Inability to Access GP Services

Rated 1 star out of 5

I am writing to express my deep frustration and concern regarding the difficulties my son has faced in trying to access medical care through your service. On 28th April, my son completed the online form and received confirmation that a telephone appointment had been booked and that a doctor would call that day. However, no call was received. We then attempted to book another appointment online the next day (29/04/25), but the system was unavailable. As a result, my son went to the Wolverton Health Centre in person, only to be told there were no appointments available and was advised to go to the Walk-In Centre. We had already been to the Walk-In Centre a few days earlier and were told to speak with our GP — which brings us back to square one. This situation is completely unacceptable. We are unable to see a GP, and the Walk-In Centre cannot help. We are being passed back and forth without access to the care my son needs. What are patients supposed to do in this situation? The system is clearly not working and needs urgent improvement. Please advise us on how we can speak to a GP as soon as possible and what steps are being taken to prevent this from happening to other patients.

I am not happy with the service with Wolverton health centres I have recurring problems within this doctors , I struggle with my mental health and health condition you can either never get an appointment or takes months for them to give me my prescriptions ,yesterday I was told my prescriptions were sent over to my pharmacy I waited ages to be told it’s not been sent over today I go in again to be told my prescriptions haven’t even been sent out after getting soaked from walking from my home which is 45minure walk from my home because I got a text message to say from my gp it was ready to collect which wasn’t I than had to go into the Wolverton gp and they had on their system I was suppose to have my prescriptions yesterday was told it would be ready just after lunchtime and than told a doctor needs to sign it no doctors around to sign and can’t grab my prescriptions from the gp and still chasing it up which I find very frustrating because I need them for desperately this by far is the worst doctors I’ve had to deal with ,I wouldn’t suggest to anyone to register with this doctors and will be taking matters further
