I was very worried after bouts of pain from a condition I currently have and it caused me lot of concern that there may be something else underlying. I phoned the surgery and was called back by my GP within the hour. We spoke on the phone and he set up a face to face appointment for the following afternoon. This service was excellent and it is typical of the care that my family and I have received over the years from the Wingerworth Medical Centre

I was dubious about contacting the 111 service however, I was surprised to receive a appointment within 30 minutes of making the call to the111 service. The consultation I received from Dr ? was exceptional , drugs supplied and an appointment made to attend Chesterfield Royal Hospital the following day for follow up investigations. A satisfied patient WMC, 111 Service and CRH.

Nothing is too much trouble. It's easy to get an appointment/response via the e-consult and telephone. The replies are speedy. The Reception staff are friendly and extremely helpful and all the GPs are amazing. I saw Dr Todd today with my 7 year old and she was wonderful. I have also been dealing with Dr Boffey with my joint issues and very happy. I feel myself and my family are in good hands being looked after by Wingerworth Medical Centre. Thank you

Having moved to the area last year I am extremely happy with the service provided at this practice. I've recently become a mum and needed to contact the practice on multiple occasions- I've had fast, timely responses using the e consult form, quick appointment allocation and quick treatment, all delivered with a friendly, professional and knowledgable demeanour. The reception staff have been equally as helpful as the medical staff when I've had prescription queries. I work for the NHS myself and know from my own experience that communication can often let services down but at Wingerworth medical centre I would say their communication skills are second to none

I cannot speak highly enough of this Practice & the smoothly efficient way it operates . I have seen the same Gp twice in last 10 days & he has not only done my blood tests ( unheard of in most other Practices !) but took time to explain all my results & treatment options . Very thorough &professional but also very friendly . A proper family Doctor . Thankyou .

I have used this practice’s eConsult service twice recently and have been very impressed and satisfied with how my concerns have been responded to very quickly in getting the care I needed. I also attended for my flu vaccine and was very impressed with the organisation from being invited to attend to the swift administration of the jab from lovely friendly staff.

Throughout these difficult times Dr Chawla's practice continues to deliver excellent care. The GPs provide face to face consultations as needed, with great support from the nurses, and the reception/admin staff are friendly and helpful. I saw a GP today concerning a skin lesion and after completing a request for advice from the hospital, they offered to freeze a separate skin blemish which was on the list for minor surgery removal. So you could say I got 2 for the price of one! Minor surgery may not now be needed and I think this is a great example of resourcefulness, efficiency and excellent care. I am privileged to be registered with this practice and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone.
