    Review of paperwork from hospital - non existent- failed to pass on request for blood test to District Nurse - failed to pass test results to hospital- failed on everything- since merging this practice is no longer fit for purpose- waste of NHS money - close it and pass money to walk in - that’s the only time you see someone face to face.

    My husband and I went to Wing Surgery to get our flu jabs. I’m disabled and find walking very difficult but my husband went in and spoke to the very friendly and helpful receptionist who organised for a doctor to pop out and do the jab for me at the car window. This was very helpful and we were done really quickly. Excellent, fast and helpful.

    Review: I felt compelled to write this review following an act of genuine kindness by the staff on reception earlier today. I have been a patient at the surgery for over 15 years and never once felt the need to complain. On the contrary, I have, without exception, found the doctors, nurses and admin staff to be professional, competent. I visit the pharmacy once a month and again find all the staff exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I genuinely believe that those leaving negative reviews and comments should separate their views on the NHS from those related to this particular medical practice. This is not the forum to express political criticism. Yes the 8am scramble for an appointment is frustrating but I have never waited more than 20 mins and always found the staff polite and apologetic for the waiting time. In any event a round trip to visit the surgery would take twice as long! I have no problem with telephone consultations and again am saved the round trip. I have no hesitation in recommending Wing surgery and others in the group to future patients.

  4. Review titled So much better than my own surgery

    My 97 year old mother in law is a patient with this surgery. They are always so friendly and helpful and have always done their best to help. Its not always possible. So often all the appointments are gone and we have to spend 14 hours in a&e which is hard for a 97 year old. But they are never rude which I cannot say for my own surgery, and they reall do try and I am so grateful for their kindness, patience and support.

  5. Review titled Unfit for Purpose

    I was #1 in the telephone queue still waited 5 mins for an answer. Was told that no more appointments (I was asking for antibiotics) - so just call 111. Not even an offer of getting someone to call me. I have not been able to get an appointment since 2020. This is no service. Frankly should be closed and money given to 111 or the walk in non emergency clinics.

    If you ring for an appointment, you have to call at 8am & end up in a long queue of callers. If you are not "lucky" enough to get through, you have to try again the following day or ring 111, no exceptions. Appalling service.
