  1. Review titled A very caring environment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was given an emergency appointment which ment I was given an appointment on the same afternoonl that I requested it. I had difficulty breathing and was monitored in the surgery while I waited for an ambulance. Two doctors were in attendance and a nurse. During the time that I waited there was very heavy rain and parts of the surgery was flooded. The attention paid to me was not affected by the flooding. I only learnt that areas of the practice had been flooded when I was being taken out of the room I had occupied and saw that the corridor floor and waiting area was very wet and people were cleaning up with mops and mop bucket. I believe the date was 12th June 2023.

Good Morning and a very happy new year to you, Please accept our gratitude for taking the time to submit such a kind review. I shall pass this on to the team. We did indeed have a serious flood last year, but our provision of care to our patients remained, as it always does, our highest priority. It is always lovely to read that this effort is recognised by any patient. Many thanks, Justin Nicholas Practice Manager

  2. Review titled Concerns

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I recently attended this practice and was concerned to see an advertisement for a private aesthetic clinic. I feel that this is totally inappropriate for a doctors surgery, particularly as there could be patients who are young and vulnerable with body image issues.

Good afternoon and many thanks for your review. Thank you for bringing this to our attention as I can assure you that we do not allow any such advertising within the building, recommend any private clinics to any of our patients. All three Practices which are housed within the Health Centre perform periodic sweeps of the building due to a history of various services and clinics putting up unsanctioned adverts in the waiting areas. Any which are found are removed. If any patient ever sees such on display again, rather than leaving a review, please kindly alert us via Reception, email willowpractice@nhs.net or by leaving a note if you would prefer to remain anonymous. Ideally please point out the offending display so that we are able to contact the offending company or service to investigate. I hope that this reassures. Many thanks Justin Practice Manager

  4. Review titled everything has a bad day

Rated 3 stars out of 5

practice texted me . the subject was important enough that when I rang to be informed that a gp call would be next Tuesday. ( 6 days ) I explained that would too long given the subject. to be told then it would be emergency which can only be arranged first thing the morning you needed to talk to a gp well I wasn't impressed. that simply didn't work . I felt the receptionist heels dig in as the power behind the systems the system like it or lump it prevailed. so after a passing sadly sarcastic shot across the bows I cut the conversation

Good morning and many thanks for your review. We appreciate all feedback, both good and bad. Please allow me to clarify that we have a selection of routine appointments available for which the wait is usually less then a week (as in this case). We also offer same day urgent slots for those patients who need them. We do not expect patients to call first thing in the morning to secure an urgent appointment. Please might I bother you to let us know via our practice email address your name, date of birth, the number you called from and the date of your call. As we have call recording capability, we should then be able to identify the Receptionist with whom you spoke and remind them of our protocols. Many thanks for bringing this to our attention. Kindest regards, Willow Practice
